"The U5 terminates at Hanau". Wow, that's some pretty impressive metro line there, going from Berlin all the way to Hesse!

Congratulations! I see you've put in a lot of effort in learning the stations. With the exception of Hönow which sounded to me like Hanau which is 30 km east of Frankfurt ( so definetely too far away ), I understood all stops properly. You definetely make them sound more interesting.

Why didn't you include the north-south S-bahn tunnel as well? It's just like the Stadtbahn with a combined frequency of 3,3 minutes

It was a tough call. This video is focused on the the U Bahns, but then I felt the Ringbahn and Stadtbahn needed to be there (in a simplified model) because I think those connections are worth memorizing. As much as I personally love the S1 I had to make cuts somewhere to meet the 5 minute mark. However, I'm looking forward to making a dedicated S Bahn video where I can give the S1 and S2 the love that they deserve :)

Nice video. As someone who loves Berlin and has been many times, I’m curious why you talked about the Ring Bahn so much in this video. It’s not near the center of the city nor is it where most tourists would go. If memory serves me right, I think in all the times I’ve been there I’ve only been on the Ring Bahn twice - both times I went to Treptower Park. Going forward I won’t make the mistake of not going there every time I’m in Berlin. It’s one of Berlin’s best parks.

Good question. I bring up the Ringbahn (and the Stadtbahn) because they are the connective tissue between many of the U Bahn lines. It never occurred to me that somebody might find the Ringbahn not relevant. Maybe it’s more relevant to people like me living outside of the ring.

Hmmm You forgot the other Sbahn lines (S1, S2, S25, S26, S45, S46, S47, S8, S85, S9) The S41 and S42 are also Sbahn lines The rest of the video is very good

Thank you! The title says it's focused on the U-Bahn lines, but I had to include the Ringbahn and the Stadtbahn S-Bahn lines just to provide crucial context. Let me ask you, why do you think would me more useful? A standalone video dedicated to the S-Bahn lines, or a long video that did the U Bahn and S Bahn lines together?

@@jamieslate I think a video about the S-bahn as a whole would be great!

@@jamieslate the north south S-bahn lines (S1, S2, S25, S26) also share the tracks inside the Ringbahn and the frequency is the same as the East west lines

Unfortunately you ignored the S- Bahn tunnel lines going north and south through the middle of the city.

Cheer up buddy this is to help most people in the least amount of time. If you can explain the S2 and it’s many offshoots in a way that is simple and memorable, I’d welcome the clarity.
