A few weeks ago I broke some bones in my leg, and now I can't use my right foot for a bit. The doc gave me the okay to hobble around, so I'm adding this knee scooter to the fleet. Today we'll fix up this knee scooter and maybe even give it some parts bin upgrades!

Seth thank you just put a smile on my face reminded me of my Nana’s Rollator after she had it for three years it had a number of issues. Well I took the entire thing apart cleaned and re-greased it replaced the break cables. put a cupholder ,cane holder , some reflective tape on the sides. Many of her doctors and nurses were impressed because her rollator was one of the safest ones they had ever used. If anyone asked about it My Nana would proudly say “oh my grandson fixed it up” She had it 12 years after my initial fix every now and then I used to give it a tuneup. Sadly My Nana isn’t around anymore. Before i gave it away I gave it one last tuneup and found it a new home. I apologize if this is a bit of a rant I just wanted to say thank you for reminding me of the good times with my Nana. I hope you have a speedy recovery. - John

When I was on crutches I had a bike bottle holder attached just near the hand piece. Worked really well. A carabiner with a bag that collapses into a pouch is good for the shops, or just carrying laptops and stuff.

By FAR the most important accessory I added was the padding to the saddle. Memory foam covered with sherpa from Amazon was an absolute knee saver. That saddle is ridiculously hard and painful without it.

I just watched your Alaskan mill video. Quick recommendation would be to file a second chain just for milling. Usually that’s about 10 degrees as opposed to the 30 degree stock. A Stihl dealer could do it for you but being laid up you could as well. It would cut much faster = efficiency. Heal up. Mazel tov!
