The way you explain every tiny detail, like HOW to switch between chords, makes learning ukulele so easy. I’m currently teaching myself ukulele so I can hopefully start teaching it at school (if I can get a class set of ukes). Day 3 on my absolute beginner ukelele journey, stumbled upon your channel on my feed. I have, however, watched a lot of ukelele KZbin tutorials. Your videos always bring a smile to my face. Be it the "look up", "don't leave", or "looks, I will wait" moments, you always seem to have some pleasant small details that surprise me in the videos. Those thoughtful moments make you not only a great music teacher, but a total charm to watch. There are many other great ukelele players and good teachers making videos too, but you are adorable in your own way and are valued for it. I will definitely follow and check out your other links/resources too. Thank you! :)

Thank you. Have been mixing it up with a few online tutorials but like your attention to real basics such as position and posture. I'm approaching 72 years old and have had 4 or 5 guitars through my lifetime and because of my wide hands with short stubby fingers could never get any more than a couple of chords right. I went for a harmonica instead!! It was suggested I try a Uke and so glad I did. Now I know its just practice, practice and more but I think I'm going to like this.

I have been playing ukelele for 2 years using apps and feel so dependent on the apps. I can't just pick up my Uke and play. This lesson was so great to correct my hold on my Uke and giving some great pointers. I so look forward to the next month with you 😊

Dear teacher, Yesterday I got my soprano ukulele and I have been YouTubing to start with the basics on how to hold it. I have been feeling sad as I was struggling to hold the instrument. And now thanks to your video, my doubts, and concerns are gone! In the last 40 mins, I know how to hold my ukulele, how to strum, the basic chords and how to transition. When you say "look up" I was actually looking down.. ha ha..you caught me! Looking forward to your next videos. You are an amazing teacher Thank you so much!!

I just picked up a Ukulele and have watched several how to play tutorials. not one of them start with the basics of how to hold your instrument. and most start with C and jumt to more complicated chords. I LOVE that you start at the true beginning and take the baby steps that I need. without making me feel dumb. you cover all the things that need covered while instilling a feeling of accomplishment and the feeling that I may actually be able to learn. now if I can find someone with as much patients to teach me to read music haha. I have subscribed and liked and will be watching more and more. you are amazing!!!! AMAZING!!! thank you SO much.

So I bought a ukulele a few months ago and I wanted to learn myself by watching YT tutorials. I didn't understand any of them, and I just gave up. Then, I came back after stumbling upon my ukulele again and wanted to have a new start. Then I came across your video. This really did help me a lot. So, thank you for this because you explained things with detail, yet with enthusiasm
