It's great fun -- and pushing me to play every chance I can get. THANK YOU! I love that you suggested we just stick with one uke for the challenge. I am doing that, well, mostly ;-) There's already a big difference in not needing to look at my left hand. This is so much fun!

So this is so fun, I love this song. Remembered that you did a baritone tutorial on this last year, checked it out and thought that it would sound great on my low G tenor, so I slipped away from my uke challenge dedicated uke just for a teensy teensy bit and it sounded awesome on a low G! (but my voice is a little lower range than you)....anyway,...*putting low G away* back to playing on my uke challenge uke. Fun Fun, thank you Bernadette!

Bernadette Teaches Music for me personally it’s perfect and just challenging enough. The strumming for Jolene at a fast pace trips me up but I’m getting it. It’s definitely good for me. I only started in May 2020 and I’m truly enjoying it. Day 1 is still a struggle but I’ll keep practicing it. 🙏🏽 Thank you again! Hi Ms. B!, I am really glad we are doing this challenge, I love learning new songs, but most of all I love that we have a day to practice. Often, I can't fully understand what is going on in a uke video in one day, and need an extra day or two, and for that reason, I fall behind in some challenges. This is the first challenge that I have done, where I am still on track. And can you plz make a video on how to do full barre chords. I am only 11, my hands don't have enough strength to hold a full barre chord. Thank you so much for everything you do for the community! ❤️❤️❤️

Yay! I’m caught up! I’m in musical shock!! Finally I won’t be the one audience member of the family gathering concert!! I can play. Oh I’m so happy!! This year I won’t be doing dishes while everyone else plays. I wish I could do more but I did become a patron member because I believe you deserve all the support you can get for being such a wonderful teacher. Where some have tried and failed, you succeeded. Because of that, others have asked and I have referred them to my super awesome ukulele teacher! ☺️ ??? My ukulele is definitely one of those you would not recommend but it holds tune and I kinda like it so my question is, would it be worth it to have the nut and bridge sanded? Honestly I’m afraid the whole thing will just fall apart if they start taking off pieces. 😬

Hi Bernadette, thanks for the video. It's always nice to learn new song. However i feel like my singing is getting really bad once i play the ukulele. Do you have some tips regarding voval technic while playing ukulele? I feel i loose my ability to vocalize a room or to switch between higher notes lower notes smoothly. Is it due to a lack of posture, ofwork, or both?
