There is a lemon oil solution specifically for the fingerboards and saddles for guitars. If you go to your local music store, they will sell this solution! 😃

I like the sound and the items that it came with it. I was opting for that before but there were not enough reviews on KZbin to consider it. I bought an Ohuhu, a Chinese brand as well, and it has very similar tones with ADM.

Bernadette Teaches Music I bought it about a couple months ago for $60 including shipping. It's mahogany. It came with a strap, the kind you reviewed before which you like, with aquila strings and an extra set, a few guitar picks, a tuner, a decent padded bag, definitely thicker than ADM's, and an instruction booklet with chords. It looks simple, no abalone inlays of some sort, and keeps in tune for a while. It sounded like the ADM and the action is just right I guess. Its a concert size and I love playing it.

Ms. B! This reminds me SOOO MUCH of my Cordoba Concert 15CM! It has the same type of decoration around the sound hole, and even has the same cream colored binding with mahogany and satin finish. I paid double the price and got ZERO accessories. (From Guitar Center) Just thought I would mention it looks almost exactly the same as a popular name brand so others could do a comparison if they would like. I appreciate what you do Ms. B! Firstly the Ukulele is great. Accessories that come with it is great. And the price is beyond great(can't buy because it doesn't available in Malaysia). Thank you for the video. My big "man hands" have me considering whether or not I should have started with a Concert sized Uke...but I have no regrets getting the Soprano. It's so much fun to play and sounds good and for me, that's what is important. However, you may not have stressed it as such, but you noted that this was a good "beginner" or "student" concert Ukelele and I'm curious now. In your opinion what are this Uke's deficiencies that would not make it a "life long" investment? (If that makes any sense.) Thank you again Miss B! As always your videos ROCK!

Well, maybe your big "man hands" would like to have a variety of sizes just for fun ;) I think that beginner ukes are missing a few things that I now look for. This is just my personal taste, of course. I would want a slightly more rich and sustained sound, a little bit more on the aesthetic side, and definitely a better gig bag.

Love your videos. You are so good at these reviews. I haven't said a lot about my Amahi because it is over $200 and I wouldn't normally encourage a beginner to spend that much. (I traded in a guitar) I uploaded a new video last night. When I figure out how to do it I will link to your site. However not sure how many new viewers I can send to you based on how many see mine. I am still plodding ahead with learning and I plan to show all the mistakes and uh-0h's. There are so many polished playing sites out there that sometimes I think it can be discouraging to some. The quality of instruments now, that are made overseas are stepping up their game =) mostly this brands, that are not BIG name brands. Honestly, about 2 years ago, when I just learned playing the Uke, I came up with a slow then suddenly turned into disco style version of that song, finger style at first, transitioning to a fast strum with a disco beat. One day I'll post it =) peace & love!

You're a very good sensei but if you play an hawaiian instrument then you should pronounce it like a hawaiian. The word 'ukulele is Hawai'ian, not English. In Hawai'ian, the language of origin, it is pronounced "oo koo lay lay". Most English speakers say "yoo koo lay lee" or "yoo ka lay lee". The Hawai'ian pronunciation is unquestionably the most "correct" pronunciation, as that is the way it was first pronounced. Just saying 😆😆😆

Kelly Nakasone Kelly, you must be new here 😉 I get harassed and trolled in the comments for pronouncing it the Hawaiian way and the anglicized way. There really is no winning that battle. I have told my community here that we will use both pronunciations interchangeably ☺️ after all, the ukulele is the instrument of love and peace.

Please don't get me wrong. I'm a Kama'aina. (Hawaii local) I was just thinking if someone was pronouncing a Spanish word wrong then you would wanna correct them right? I for sure wasn't harassing you. I just figured as a teacher you would want to know the right way. I'm sure you get corrected in Japanese and okinawan language all the time without feeling like you're harassed. I'm sorry I shouldn't have said anything.

Oh! I know you weren't harassing me. I know you're just bringing your input, especially as a Hawaiian! I wholeheartedly agree with you on using words correctly and spreading the education. Now that I have lived abroad I have learned that everyone pronounces words differently and as long as I understand the message that they're trying to communicate, we are good. A simple example of this is the word "burrito" 😂everyone says, "wanna go get a boo-ree-toe?" when I know it should be "boo-rrrrrrrrrri-toh" -I'm not going to sit there and correct them if I'm hungry, you know?
