That WTF face at the end was priceless. I can't believe how low this movie is rated, I admit it does not compare to director's previous pictures, but personally I think that collaboration of Mel Brooks and Leslie Nielsen was gold, it certainly holds better than most movies of this genre today. On a side note: there were some time cleavages in here.
@svensven89943 жыл бұрын
It is a hilarious, amazing film. Way better than average ``humor'' today. I think it is ``rated'' low because it's not the typical four-letter word humor that most people recognize as constituting funny. It's witty and clever; the typical person will not appreciate this. Secondly, you have to have seen the 1931 film or at least read the book to get 100% of the jokes and funny insertions. And again, most people will not watch a black-and-white film from '30s and certainly not read a book. Lol.

Like most of the movie, this is a direct parody of a scene from 1931 Dracula with Bela Lugosi. And the original is as nonsensical as this, the "hypnosis" in the original served absolutely no purpose other than showing off Dracula's powers to the audience.

So that she wouldn't remember and identify who asked her to deliver the message. Had things gone according to plan, anyone investigating would end up in dead end.
