Am I alone to see Richard Ashcroft could be singing this song, they have similar phrasing, and the voices aren't super different either. Perhaps they should've had formed a super group. Or get Butler in the Verve when McCabe didn't feel like it anymore. Still not too late I guess, Ashcroft's good solo but lacks a guitar master beside him.

@ChainNonSmoker I've been saying that to everyone, it could definitely be a Richard Ashcroft/Verve song. I know Bernard auditioned with the Verve around 96' for a few sessions but they opted to get McCabe back in with him being the original. Would love to see Ashcroft and Butler make music together...
