You don’t have to be a dick. The minute you leave you can drop that crap right outside the door. I couldn’t let my wife see me in cuffs one more time. It’s fight or flight inside but you can man up and walk away.

Love listening to Hopkins. The walking embodiment of self belief and self improvement. The man is constantly trying to better himself intellectually and physically and the results are for all to see. An interesting and inspirational man. And he could fight like hell too.

He cited "street code" as the rationale for not killing his brother's murderer... but we all know that revenge would've been his driving force. Has he obsessed over it, he could've made it happen. He is very fortunate to make it past that circumstance. And we are fortunate to have witnessed his excellence.

That was a blessing from God because Bernard woulda had to kill that guy according to prison/street codes...If the dude woulda came to general population and he didn't kill the dude. Yo after that anybody woulda had an open invitation to do what ever to Bernard. The mindset is after all he aint do nothing to the dude that killed his brother so what is he gonna do to me? Thank God for His intervention into Hop's life which allowed him to do things for his family and grow to be a mature old man and not a 52 year old dude that wasted his life and prob would die in prison...
