I have watchd BK & the team for the last 3 years and his DH vlogs are just the best out there. When he stops racing, UCI should employ him as a video maker for DH. I really hope he and the team have a good season and get back on the podium.

"Happiness IS success" spot on ! My high school guidance counselor in the mid sixties said "you need to get your grades improved in order to attend college and be a success. i said , " will college make me happy ?" he said , "thats not the point " to which i replied , " then i'm not interested " .

Dude is honestly one of the best humans alive. Any time I see his KZbin get posted up I have to stop what I’m doing and watch. He’s one of those guys that you just can’t help to think if you met him riding, he would genuinely treat you like a friend. Great episode 🤘

liked and subscribed - best of luck with the pod (btw, good lighting)! Hope you get to revisit BK in a year, and see how his quest for happiness evolved. I've observed that most unusually successful people are ADHD or Autistic to some degree - it allows them to shut off all the distractions and focus, far more than most of us 'regulars'. It's a superpower in a way. I agree that making 'le$$' and being happier and more time to do fun things, is about as good a measure of success as one can imagine It can't be understated how important BK's mom was for buying him that first van........hats off to any parents who help, as it's not very common to have that kind of luck in this world. I will admit, that it's from watching BK's vlog vids that it dawned on me that the technique of intentionally pushing the wheels into corners or precise spots on a trail to gain a hair of extra traction where there might not otherwise be traction, was something that I needed to incorporate into my daily rides - it's really changed everything about how I hit a trail.
