This a PERFECT stitch for a newborn tummy time blanket. I'm making one for my upcoming nephew and remembered how annoying it was when my babies tiny toes would get stuck in the gaps. This keeps things nice and tight so little toes and fingers dont get tangled! Thank you!!

Using Bernat blanket tie dye size 6 super bulky with hook K 6.5mm, as don't have J hook. But really looks nice with this combo. Thanks again.

I tried a granny square with this size of hook and it puckers and looks so off. I love this yarn tho.

Any suggestions on how to correct a Barnet Blanket yarn baby blanket. I seem to be adding stiches and now it's crooked. Already froged out 2 different patterns!
@Emilycrochet Жыл бұрын
Hello, it might be your last stitch that is messing you up. Count your stitches at the end of each row or you could use a stitch marker.

Thank you for this pattern, I am new at crocheting and love this as it's easy and tighter and really soft puffy and pretty for baby blanket. I'm doing sample and love the way it turns out. Can you suggest how many chains to start baby blanket, what dimensions for finished blanket, thank you.

You might want to start with 70 chain an turn and make your blanket as long as you would like. 3 1/2 ft my 4ft. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thank you

Did you do a single crochet border around the whole blanket?
@Emilycrochet Жыл бұрын
Yes you sure can, make sure you put more stitches in the corners so as not to curl.

Cool

That doesn't look like a rice stitch. It just looks like your having the hook going through the post instead of both front back loop.

What is this stitch called? I’m watching May 6 2024. Having trouble because of the variegation of the yarn when I reach the end of the row.
@Emilycrochet8 ай бұрын
Hello, I believe it is the rice stitch. Maybe people have called it the most stitch.

@@Emilycrochet Thank you. It’s the moss stitch and I have already started a blanket with it. 😊

Do you have to have an even number of the chain to start with? Also throughout the pattern do you always skip that one chain? Thank you!!
@Emilycrochet3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for questions so I do better in my videos, yes a multiple of two when chaining. Skip chain at the beginning when turning? Yes.

How many stitches across for a baby blanket and how many balls of yarn please.
@Emilycrochet Жыл бұрын
Hello. You can make your blanket as wide or wide as you would like. This stitch is a yarn saver. I would suggest three skeins and start with 200 stitches. I hope this is helpful
@Fangrami Жыл бұрын
@@Emilycrochet 200 chains??? I only use 88 stitches to do an adult throw. I’m confused.
@Emilycrochet Жыл бұрын
@@Fangrami hello, you can make your chain and hold it out to see how big you would like your blanket. I do add extra Incase of the stitches being tight. Hope this helps.
