If you look up autophagy, basically when your body consumes and destroys old/toxic cells like cancer cells when you fast, many people swear by it. Pharmaceutical companies can't make any money by telling people to fast so they won't do it. Also lowering down sugar consumption since cancer cells thrive on glucose.
