Gibt es von Deutz als Climber Ausführung, von New Holland und Ferguson ebenfalls, gab oder gibt es auch für Claas. Wird aber von den meisten Herstellern nicht in Deutschland angeboten, eher Schweiz, Österreich und Italien wo auch das Fahrwerk hergestellt und montiert wird.

@@paulratzlaff2935 Yes, Switzerland is part of the European Union. NO IT IS NOT!!!!!! So they are not subsidized by the EU. Not every agricultural region in the world is as flat as the Midwest of the USA or Canada. Switzerland is full of hills and mountains and there are farmers there, too. Whether you use the land for dairy farming and make hay or grow grain, as here, doesn't matter then. Manufacturers of agricultural machinery have adapted to this and offer special machines for use in mountainous regions. And not every farmer wants to import his grain at higher costs. Mya be they are subsidized by the Swiss government but farmes and their work are worth it

ehrlich, das Problem mit dem Stroh ist nicht nennenswert, vorallem wenn man unten im Eck die Nasse stelle sieht wo er am schluss von Oben dreschen musste. einmal mit dem Schwader/bandrechen oder von hand wieder auf die fläche gezogen und gut ist. es ist eine wahre Kunst da überhaupt dreschen zu können. von den Drescherfahrern die ich kenne, mal abgesehen das die gar keinen solchen Hangdrescher haben, sind nur ausgewählte überhaupt in der Lage. Da will ich nicht mal mit dem Traktor wirklich fahren, da ist das überhaupt schon eine kunst und das Wetter muss auch stimmen.

I remember how cool it was when my dad bought our first hillside combine. I think it was about 1960. Dad explained the combine worked most effectively when the separator was level, but the header and other parts could adjust to fit the terrain. Looks like they grow great yields. We raised wheat and barley on a dry farm in Idaho, USA.

I think that machine is pretty amazing..I haven't seen them self-level like that... hut I wonder - would tracks work? Like those on a High Speed Dozer? Just a thought. Lol. Cool video though.

Those hydraulic pistons/rams over the back axle always look to me when fully extended as if they are about to break off. Do these machines have any form of "self leveling" system on them or is it all down to the operator, - however they work rather him than me in that cab. I just love the bit where the farmer is cutting the corn in a corner with a 'strimmer' and 'hand loading' it into the combine. Instead of "Extreme Sports" I suppose this is "Extreme Farming". - Frighteningly good video.

@@joegotz1971 Thank-you for that reply. - I presume you mean Washington State in the USA. Do you know if Deutz-Fahr still make them.? I can understand the machine 'self leveling' bit, - I presume it works on sensors, - is that what controls the angle of the header as well. I would have thought wider tyres, (or twins), for more grip or even tracks would be better on the front. I noticed in another video even a towed. 'Big Bale' baler couldn't follow the lines of straw properly and kept slipping down the slope causing the tractor driver to have to keep reversing to pick up what was missed.

@@christopherlovelock9104 The Palouse seems to have a lot of Case IH and believe they mostly use Hillco leveling systems. Probably with today’s technology the combine can drive itself.

Many Thanks. The level is set automatically, but the driver can intervene manually. And yes, even such a machine has its limitations. Then muscle power is needed again 😄

Sind in Hügeln der Toskana schon jahrzehnte im Einsatz. Viel Interessanter ist doch, wie verhindert man an solch extremen Hanglagen, die Bodenerosion bei der Bodenbearbeitung und in der Wachstumsphase. Macht das überhaupt Sinn.

Das ist wohl wahr, aber auch in der Toskana stehen sie vor ähnlichen Herausforderungen bezüglich Bodenerosion

Beim besten Willen ... die Schweiz hat doch genug ebene Flächen die sich besser eignen zum Ackerbau als solche Steillagen. Je nach Lage könnte man auf diesen Hängen Wein anbauen. Sinnvoller wäre aber sicher klassische Weidewirtschaft. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen wie man in solchen Regionen wirtschaftlich Ackerbau betreiben kann.

Wenn es sich nicht rechnen würde, würden hier Rinder weiden. Für Wein hat`s zuwenig Sonne und es fehlt die Infrastruktur dafür 😁
