In questo secondo appuntamento con il Deutschland Tour 2022 ci troviamo in Sassonia-Anhalt, dove abbiamo la fortuna di vedere al lavoro il futuristico Nexat, il porta attrezzi di concezione tedesca che in questo caso è configurato con il modulo di trebbiatura Nexco: rotore assiale da 5,8 metri Dual-Axial-Flow che accoglie il prodotto al centro e lo divide in due flussi paralleli, tramoggia da 32 metri cubi con velocità di scarico di 600 litri al secondo e barra di taglio Geringhoff da 15,5 metri.
La cabina rotante di 270 gradi offre sempre la giusta posizione per la visibilità, i due motori termici con potenza complessiva di 1100 cavalli, oltre a muovere tutti gli organi lavoranti, sono dotati di generatori per fornire energia ai 4 motori elettrici delle ruote, le quali, ruotando di 90 gradi si possono allineare al corpo macchina ottenendo una larghezza di trasposto su strada di soli 3 metri.
*Curiosità: la configurazione Nexat con modulo per i trattamenti Dammann ha un serbatoio di 22000 litri e la barra irroratrice ha una larghezza di lavoro di ben 70 metri!

The theory behind this unit is like the Uni System multi function harvester. This is actually a power unit with a combine unit on it. They show it with a planter and other attachments on it. They are promoting it as a controlled traffic machine. It has been at the experimental stage for a few years. I first saw it in the fields in Ukraine.

This design and concept has huge flaws, it's very hard to steer it when making turns on fields and you need huge space to turn it around 360 degree.

@@pharaon6718 it’s got it’s pros and cons like any other machine. As far as pros go, it’s great for controlled traffic farming, has the attachment versatility and all of that. You can watch the marketing for that. For cons there’s a few things I notice: turning like you said, the cost of buying all new attachments built for the machine, also, as far as the combine goes, the auger doesn’t look like it has great visibility, nor does the header.

A good start. Gotta lose the feeder spout and many parts still. Product should go directly up as it threshes and then down through a shoe. End of story. I've always thought this general configuration had potential though. No clean elevator is nice, but a return is hard to avoid with most grains.

I would like to see them test it on hills. How steep of a hill can it harvest? Perhaps it is only intended for flatland use, but that certainly limits its applicability. It certainly won't be used on the hills of the Palouse region in Washington state and Idaho, USA where 20 - 45 degree hillsides are very common.
