Bernette Seville 4 Threading & Winding a Bobbin

Oh my goodness!! I was sooo frustrated wih this machine. Had it for a long time and always thought the design for the thread spool was really bad because it continually jumps out. So glad I finally searched for a Bernette video. And there all along was a spool cap included!! Really feel silly now. But there is nothing in the booklet explaining it. Thank you. Will enjoy my machine much more now.

This tutorial has saved me a whole lot of time and headache! It's a great machine, but completely different from the Brother that I've used for years. My MIL bought me this machine just prior to us moving to Fiji, and there are not a whole lot of Bernina folks over here to help me learn how to use it! Thanks for sharing!

What guide at the top of the needle are you talking about? I do not see one. Also, after I sew, it looks like my machine is threaded, I pull up the thread from the bobbin and start to sew and my needle always comes unthreaded. Can you post a closed picture of the GUIDE and why does that happen with my needle??

my machine is crap it keeps dropping the thread and it wont do what its made to do "SEW" and mine makes the most loudest sound when sewing, it thumps not hums.
