Watch Bernice’s face as Julia starts in on her during the commercial break. There are at least two places where Alice Ghostley broke character and started laughing 1) when Julia suggested that her arterial flow had stopped entirely and 2) when she threatened to throw Bernice across the studio. You can clearly see and hear Alice lose it in both places. Priceless.

This clip ends right before it, but the best part of the episode is when Mary Jo arrives & uses the show to publicize her being dumped by Donald & to let viewers know that they are only setting themselves up for heartbreak if they go out with him. The episode contains one of Annie's best performances, especially when she finds out from the women in Donald's office that she is not the only one strung along by him. If people have to start a support group to get over being burned by you, you are trash.
