Bernice mentioned that was women who witnessed the empty tomb and were the first to proclaim the Gospel. And mentioned what he could do with his smug condescension.

This clip was cut off before the best part of this scene. And that's a shame...because Bernice's crowning moment was when she tells him...that after Christ was crucified...while his disciples hid, it was women who stood the vigil at the tomb, and it was women that Christ chose to reveal the miracle of Resurrection to, and it was women who went to tell everyone the Good News, not men. On a side not..prior to the middle ages and the Cult of Mary that spread, Mary Magdalen was known as the Apostle to the Apostles, because she is the one who went ans told them of the Resurrection. She had that title before she became known as the Divine Whore.

actually that verse about husband of 1 wife was paul tyring to get the church to get away from polygamy....as God allowed it in the OT but under the new covenant God was wanting his people to get back to how it was in the garden. but our modern mindset of divorce where people can be married mroe than once is how we interpret that verse.

A friend of mine was well versed in the bible and didn't believe a word of it. When Jehova's Witnesses came to his door he'd invite them in, let them speak then play the I've got a verse that contradicts your verse game. They always got frustrated and left
