I had a 004D some years ago, it was a great little overlocker, beautiful stitches and 'the' nicest, tiny rolled hem I've ever seen. Wish I had kept it but sometime you just need to move things along. After driving several hours to collect it, I then realised the seller hadn't been honest as it was seized due to thread being wound around 'everything'...I was tempted to leave it there and drive off, but quick and slight pressure on the foot pedal, the motor sounded OK, albeit nothing turned due to a multitude of thread jams. Took hours to remove all the thread, cleaned, oiled, set the tensions, threaded etc and was pleasantly surprised as I thought it might be a parts-machine. Kept it for 4-5 years with not a hiccup...a great little overlocker with a small footprint that worked perfectly after some TLC.

I just bought a secondhand Bernina 007D and the threading is pretty much similar. Thankfully the previous owner still kept the printed manual (and it's still available online on their website), however I still find it pretty tricky. Your video is very helpful!. Thank you so much!!

I just bought a 007D. It threads exactly the same way. I didn’t get the manual, but I am buying a 004D manual, which it’s also very similar. This machines must be around 30 yrs old.
