I am new to embroidery -- purchased a new bernina 570QEE recently; just started using the embroidery module and was surprised how loud the mechanism seems to be. is this normal?

Dear Noreen, it's hard to answer your question without actually hearing your machine. Please try the following: Replace the needle (see kzbin.info/www/bejne/oIXYkmqbd8qfiac for more information on needles), oil your BERNINA 570 QE (see kzbin.info/www/bejne/ml7PmqBurbmdqpo) and clean the hook area. If you still feel that your machine is too loud please contact your BERNINA dealer.
