Tip #4 I liked the best. I find it too easy, when composing guitar arrangements, to "skimp" and just stick to power chords. But this one tip takes a boring song and makes it more technical, original, and interesting. Thanks, Bernth!!🤘👍

Thank you Bernth! I'm not a SHREDDER and I don't play METAL but your lessons, tips and quality advice has been helpful to me in my guitar journey. Mostly I like to play the BLUES and Rockabilly. I'm in my 50's and dropped the guitar for 23 years and picked it up again a few years ago. Now that we have all these really cool you tube guitar lessons and advice I'm like a kid in a guitar candy store, LOL!!! Thanks again Bernth.

These ideas arent necessarily exclusive. It would be work by starting using the first idea and gradually incorporating the other levels as the song progresses giving a real feeling of growth to an otherwise plain song. I really enjoyed the video and learned something I can incorporate immediately into my playing. Will definitely be checking out other videos by you. Great work!

HIGHWAY! My favorite was the first however, I believe that it’s because it opened up the entire concept for me. Each one has its own place but I think this is a killer concept for anyone whether they play primarily lead or rhythm guitar.

Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and for teaching a class in a very simple step-by-step manner. I'm a teacher myself and I always try to scaffold content for my students. Slicing concepts into small digestible pieces and working up bit by bit is the best way to achieve proper understanding. Your thinking is visible for the viewers and it is very easy to understand what you're teaching. Thanks once again, congrats on the excellent work and keep it up! Cheers from Brazil!

I dug the idea of progressing from a power chord base and then adding the thirds and ninths. Makes forming the chord shapes more intuitive. Now my biggest challenge is mechanically being able to hold those chords while sounding good.

Highway: I like the idea of using all 5 levels in a song to create depth. Thank you for reminding me about some of this. Bands like Def Leppard and Whitesnake (I know, I know... not the brand of metal most folks here are into...) use many of those in every song as a way to add an extra dimension to the two guitarists thing. If they play the same thing... boring, but if they play similar, complimentary things... awesome. As I said.. thank you, Bernth for reminding me about this.

I have been playing a Jackson Pro for decades. I got a bit board with playing until I received an ESP today from a sponsor. All the spice is back. As far as this video I will have to watch it a million times to see what your doing. If you showed it in tab I could have it down in less than 5 minutes! You basically made a great sounding video that does not help probably most of the world. I never studied music. I can't read it nor do I ever want to. My fingers make the music and my ears approve if its good or not! My eyes have nothing to do with my creations. PLEASE take this into consideration for future videos. Show TAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! People Please stand up and fight for your right to see TAB!!
