Im about to be disfellowshiped later this evening for writing a disassociation letter because I don't agree with 1914 I'm 21 and I love Jesus and Jehovah and one of the Elders said "I hope you make it back to Jehovah" , as if I ever left him. Stephon Nicholls There’s no question they are wrong. The problem is the “court” you’ve been subject to is filled with cowards who will do the wrong thing against you even when what they’re doing is wrong for millions of people. Instead of turning on the organization and it’s bad practices, they turn on the minority who speak up in order to silence the dissent and protect themselves. It’s a very cowardly group of men.

Thank you Eric for all that you are doing Brother ! You have helped my wonderful wife Ruth in her understanding of the Christ and who Jesus is in the Godhead. She was raised all of her life in the organization and we met after my first wife passed away. I could tell when I met her that she truly loved Jehovah and worshiped him and had a great desire to still serve him even though she had many questions that she knew she would be disfellowshiped for had she went to the elders. She now is growing and has peace of mind, heart and soul. Jesus has transformed her so much. It is a wonderful experience for me as a Christian to see this transformation. We truly have a burden in our hearts to see others come to true faith in Christ our Lord and savior.

My Brother let me tell you something ....You just confirmed whether God spirit was helping me to see that we don't have to have a particular place of worship to walk with God...you see...after coming out of watchtower indoctrination I realized how truly vast and deceptive is Babylon the Great! I always wondered how God encourages and commands us to get out of her if we don't want to share in her sins ...Babylon covers so many nations tongues and people just like waters that covers the earth. Something kept telling me it was no longer necessary to have a particular location building or church...but I had family members guilt tripping me trying to lure me to their churches I believe Gods spirit is truly upon you to do this great work before the Great Tribulation breaks out...and I believe others have his spirit also within the Bereoan picketts group.. Keep saying what you are saying keep speaking like this! After a childhood of false teaching/ belief system that my salvation was tied to a religious organization JWs, I turned my back on it in disbelief for the hypocracy and dishonesty. I went on to embrace the world and continued to feel lost. Eventually broken. I went open hearted in prayer to God. My first spiritual knowledge came from this very scripture you've sighted. As we all know the loving disfellowshipping arrangement from Jehovah is nothing more than a tool of fear and a way to keep those of us who know things we not supposed to know become "Apostates." My dear friend Daro Weilburg also has the governing body in a pickle... Because if they do not step in and disfellowship him then they also must claim him and his "Jehovah Hates You" theology. I think you have the Organization very worried and it is good that the TRUTH is getting out to the world about how wicked this group is. I am amazed that it takes so long for members to wake up to the lies they are being fed. By the way JW's seem to have a hang up on Religion. God or Jesus never said we had to be part of a religion or organization, as taught by JW's. @Archie Fitzpatrick that scripture does not prove he knew Adam would sin from when he was created. God does not chose to see what we may do. If this was the case he would have already made up his mind and saved those he knew would be true.. He doesn't do this he gives us a chance to repent of our wrong course of action.. If it were true that God knew Adam would sin then don't you think Satan would have something different to say? Why would he have asked to test job? None of the bible makes sense if we are all predestined one way or another. The scripture in John is saying that God knows our hearts in the current moment

Hello Eric I keep this as short as possible, I had a dispute with the governing body about first thessalonians 4:16 and what the rise meant, and the going together to heaven at the same time. I showed them their own interlinear and it proved that no anointed had gone to heaven at this point and they didn't like it. it went on for a number of years, they did wright back but I disagreed with them strongly. they never did anything to me just stop writing back. Some elders in my congregation did listen one elder at least accepted it and said that I was right but that we had to wait. the others just condemned me and I was marked for years, nobody would talk. eventually I found a magazine from the governing body, that said I could approached the elders with any question, and they would listen and give an answer. so over the next few months I did just that I kept it in my bag and continually ask them to listen. none of them would refusing to talk to me. in the same article it said if I can't find two elders to talk then approach to mature Christian brothers in the congregation. so what I did, I wrote to the governing body with the article and said what I was going to do was approach 2 mature Christian brothers in the congregation because the elders wouldn't listen 3 months past the governing body did nothing to me. the brothers knew that I was right. one of them was disfellowship and his whole family. the other is still a witness everything seemed to be going ok then I had my first shepherding call in years and I mentioned that I had written to the governing body and asked if it was ok to speak to too mature , Christians. I felt safe because the governing body had done nothing to me but the two elders turned on me and disfellowshipping was put to me so I wrote to the governing body and ask them for help telling them what had happened and that they were going to spiritually put me to death I expected a reply but no reply came at my appeal I told them that I didn't want to be this fellowship I just wanted an explanation of that scripture none of them was willing to talk to me on that subject. There was 7 elders at my appeal and they were shouting and calling me liar,it was most disturbing to witness that now I'm glad that I've been disfellowship I'm not in bondage to those men anymore. I now know that they have no understanding of the Bible not even their most treasured Matthew chapter 24 so I feel relieve thanks Eric I hope this helps.

Thanks, really appreciate your openness, curiosity, and critical thinking. We may have different definitions of "religion" (I actually like the one in James chapter 1). I've never been involved in a church or a denomination that required I rely on them for anything. Once I was old enough to serve myself spiritual meat, I did. I bring people to Christ on my own, baptize them on my own and follow God's calling on my own (Without forsaking an organized fellowship some may call a "religion"). I know there are "religions" that teach you to depend on a leader other than Christ, even individual churches within and without denominations have pastors that do this - I've just been blessed to not be drawn to one I guess.

I think a lot of people would like to see something fresh and new....particularly the current situation for JWs, how to prepare for a judicial committee meeting, how to carefully reach out to friends & family to share The Truth about The Truth without scaring them away...etc. Topics such as Russell, 1914, 1975, The Generation, Beth Sarim, Blood, Disfellowshipping, etc have driven into the ground.

I look forward to those videos, and I truly appreciate you. I have not found anything yet that I disagree with. So often it has been my experience, that when people leave the organization, they return immediately to the vomit. That might cause some people to say that I still believe that Jehovah's Witnesses teach the truth. But that is exactly why we are all here on this page, because we all realize, that there are things that we learned there that are taught by no other religion, it is just that they have drifted into apostasy, exactly like Christ said they would. I would not know any of the things that I know today, had I not been a part of that, and I will forever be grateful for it. I am not about to trade the true things I learned there, and return to those beliefs that I know are outright lies. Thanks for all that you are doing, I know how hard it is.

When I was having my doubts and learned that I was not alone and after digging so deeply into the scriptures it hit me that my father more then likely is in heaven. He was a good loving man that was duped into this cult. I literally broke down when reading the NT. Also reading the book of revelation without the cults view in mind will leave you wondering what in the world were you thinking allowing men to dictate to you what the Bible really teaches. Thanks. I would welcome a talk examining the “ruler of the world”. God went to great lengths to demonstrate to Nebuchadnezzar that he was the king of kings, but in other scriptures there is talk of the Devil ruling the world, and how does this affect our worship. If you could add this subject to your list of talks to present in the future I would appreciate it. Thanks for your ministry.

No, it was part of a campaign Rutherford launched in the 1940s. However, Russell did recognize the snare of religion, but the slogan, I believe, was all Rutherford. My brother is a witness and I have been studying with him for over a year now. He wants me to commit to the JW organization however I can not due to the fact that although they are mostly correct with their translation there are some places where they take mans word over Jehovah’s Word. I want to be baptized but I don’t believe the JW organization will allow it. Where can I go to be baptized? I can’t go to any old church because most of them believe Jesus is God, and that is clearly not the case. Help!

Hi Nathan. If Jesus is not of the same essence as YHWH (Jehovah) then what, or who, is he? “A god” as the NWT renders John 1:1? But..... In Isaiah 44:6 YHWH says “I am the First and the Last: Besides me there is no God” And again in Isaiah 43:10 he says: “Before me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after me” And again in Isaiah 44:8 he says “Is there another God besides me? Indeed there is no other Rock. I know not one” Regarding creation, YHWH says in Isaiah 44:24 “ I am YHWH, who makes all things (compare Jesus in Colossians 1:16) Who stretches out the heavens all alone. Who spreads apart the earth by Myself” Or is Jesus not “a god” but in fact an angel? But Hebrews 1:1-13, when read without the Watchtower lens, was clearly written to combat this specific heresy. Verse 5 asks us to consider “for to which of the angels did He ever say: You are my Son, today I have begotten You”? I pray Nathan that you do not get caught in the bondage of the Watchtower. There is the truth in the scripture which can be known by every one. Burdensome doctrines of man are not required! Be blessed,

for as long as you're asking “what is the one true religion?” there will be countless ready to convince you by any means necessary that it's their religion. this is very dangerous. absolute truth is unattainable, and your faith should work for you based on your experiences. if you can't respect someone's (different) faith working for them based on their experiences *to the same extent that you respect your own faith,* the safest thing to do would be staying away from religion, because you will be exploited by groups that tell you they are better than everyone else.

Magnum Opus 777 that's great! if you don't believe a church is necessary, don't go. i would even agree with you that church isn't necessary, and the truest way to follow Jesus' teachings would be through your interpretation of his words alone. these are just our opinions, though. and where i think our opinions differ is that i believe church really can be a positive, open, loving community to casually attend every sunday - it just depends on the person. it is that way for a lot of people. and in the same sense that evangelical groups have no scriptural basis for evangelizing, people who follow christ through their interpretation of the scripture alone don't have a scriptural basis for convincing others their religion is wrong, either. (i feel it's a tiny bit different in the case of jehovah's witnesses, because every follower is a victim of the governing body to some extent. and it still isn't much different. you have to treat their beliefs on an individual basis with at least some respect if you expect any respect in return.) that's my opinion, anyway. i don't see how it can be true in one way and not the other, without doublethink and a superiority complex.

After a half century of being in the organization I finally escaped. I moved congregations from one state to another and they were supposed to send over my records, but somehow they were lost in transit. I just quit attending meetings and disappeared off their radar. About 3 years ago I was having guilt feelings and decided to attend congregation meetings and meet with the elders. The main question I had was about the child abuse. They referred me to one instance where the society had to pay out $5 million bucks. That’s it! At this time I found out about the Australian Royal Commission and child abuse. That’s when I realized it’s time for me to move along. No time for there nonsense!
