Hey Eric. Some time back I researched the Greek word in Matthew 24:34, generation - γενεά, and it's application. In English it means 'the whole multitude of men living at the same time'. It seems that the WT rewrote the Greek dictionary too. Keep up the good work brother:)

Yeah…or about 10 to 20 years. One greek source said. Also the verse means that the generation would still pass….and implies another would rise up. The verse is not talking about chronology…its the old magicians trick….haha we are using the wrong argument or question. Its not chronology …..but rather, moral sense of generation …..Psalm 12:7 compare to Psalm 22:30….just sent that to william as well. His insights are good. Hope this gives the the generation thing the true and accurate spin. In the 1800’s they found almost the whole body of truths……but most of it got buried after the great war WW1. The JWs did get a lot of the foundations about soul, spirit, God’s name…but got a bit twisted in the “who seems to be the greatest act” that the apostles kept getting tied up in. Leads to power struggles and injustices. The stumbling blocks must come, the master said. U of London 1876 …generation, chronological but moral..Psalm 12:7…compare… Psalm.22,30

Also if you look at the preceding chapter in matthew 23:35,36….he said all the blood would be asked back from that generation….so “this generation” 24:34 apparently would be a wicked one…..we could add in the olive true and summer and When you see the branch and it’s tender, shoot sprouting, that’s the sign of summers coming. Likewise, when you see those events, he talked about happening, you would know that he would be near to coming and ending the system… The signs will get worse and worse , more and more until it reaches a crescendo…GT

I could never have imagined that the Bible passages you've explained in your last 3 videos could ever be explained so convincingly, and to the best of understanding, so correctly. I still struggle with many questions particularly with respect to the story about what happened in the garden of Eden, archaeological findings of early humans vs the Bible's own account, the global flood, and more. But surely you've contributed in no small measure in helping me keep my faith in God alive while I keep searching and hoping for answers to my questions. I commend your spirit. N S Keep praying friend. I am very confused too. Remember that Jehovah says my Commandments are not burdensome. We shouldn’t have to over analyze. Jesus spoke to the people with easy parables. Remember that there must be Double prophesies because clearly Jehovah knew that we weren’t gonna be alive in Jesus day. Otherwise why would the Bible persist many years after the life of Jesus? Why do we still have the Bible if those prophecies were already fulfilled??? Double prophesy. Remember that when we analyze prophesies in FULL context, there are many parts to them that still haven’t been fulfilled. Therefore they become Double Prophesies. Like you said, God keeps shining light. It becomes clearer and clearer. Keep praying brother.

The Great tribulation begins in 2027. Look up messiah 2030. The watchtower society is desolated in 2027. Perhaps in march 26? Look up the Seven year tribulation. Daniel 12:11-Rev 11:3, Dan 9:27.

I remember about 4/5 years ago I was out in min with the C of B of E and we had the discussion about the generation only applying to the first cent, putting forth the some of the arguments you have presented (wish I had your conclusive evidence you have presented in your series mind) and he remained silent as he could not refute the logic. Do you believe we should do everything that Gods son tells us to do? I think there are members of the GB who are sincere but they themselves have become followers of men. This is why the bible says “keep seeking out truth as a hidden pearl”. We can never sit back and rest until we have made sure of all things. It takes humility which is the test now on the GB, will they be humble enough to rethink their teachings and lead innocent people to relearn the truth.

I was pondering how many times the bible has been upgraded There must be a ton of mistakes. I believe the g b and the watchtower have proven themselves false prophets, Jesus would make sure many scriptures were missed while being tampered with by the watchtower, I’ve noticed the j w s act like the bible was written just for them, I’m not scared but I’m scared , I’m in a mess as an ex, I’ve learned too much for this to be the truth, I just dint know how to find it , unless worshipping can be done from our hearts and not a building. I was shocked by 1919 and the overlapping generation.

again, another great episode. concise, and unlike the wachtower explanation on the same (as well as on other) topic, it makes sense, it feels right. from the age of 14, 15, i started having discussions with elders about this and similar issues; prophesies, time tables, and the end time, and finding meaning in the bible to determine when it will be. i often objected that jesus said, it isnot for you to know the day and hour, so why do we (Jehovahs Witnesses) claim to know it, especially since Jesus said that even the Son didnt know. the reply that came up at least once every time was something like: 'No doubt Jesus knows." me: "but he said...". "Yes, sure. but it makes sense to assume that by now, so very close to the end(btw, that, i consider circular reason) Jehovah would have informed His Son already. for sure, long time ago. the first time one of the elders answered me that way, me at age 15, maybe 14, i was stunned. i felt like that guy was being intentionally stupid. and other arguments to defend the watchtower, words like discernment were used in a way that made me so frustrated. like : "if you can not see that th gb is right in its (calculations, reasoning, or what ever) then you better start praying harder, studying more, more prreaching, etc. so work and perhaps you will be saved if you are lucky. and that was what i got instead of some real sensible reasoning, or else some clear answers that actually made sense. it was obvious they were not gonna try to help me find the truth, the right answers to my questions. they didnt care about truth, they just want to be right, in their defense of the watchtower teachings, making sure those ignorant slaves kept working. A few years latre, after so many useless discussions, i gave up, and stoppes all activity except going to the meetings sometimes, for the sake of the family. Your explanation here is outstanding. i bet even those moron elders i talked to back then would be able to understand and knowing and admitting in their hearts that the pile of bs the watchtower sold us for pure clean a-quality "spiritual food" was an unsult, a waste of time and a hinderence in our attempts to find God.

The term "this generation" is not a time period. It refers to people, all (or many of) the families that are living at a specific time. Jehovah was the first to use the term when talking with Noah. (Gen. 7:1) Jesus said his presence would be like the days of Noah. Why would Jesus think of a different definition of "this generation" than his Father? In Ex. 1:6, the term "that generation" refers not to Joseph and his brothers but to all 70 individuals, as context shows. Must reconcile all occurrences when the term is used (mainly by Jehovah and Jesus).

im now a born again christian .but i joined jws in 1963..i had many conversations and debates with christians over the years and made many friends ..however most conversations were mostly about the trinity and hellfire much time was wasted .me trying to prove i was right the others that they were right..if only somone had talked to me in this constructive way i may have woken up yesrs ago..i found most born again christians actualy had very little real bible knowledge always fixed on hell and trinity..because jw were well schooled in thses subjects i never felt a need to delv into other beliefs presented.i remember being physicly thown out of a so called bible discussion group becsuse i would not accept the trinity.( i do now by the way) another time i had a gent slam thd door so hard it almost broke the glass .with the words ", you deny my lord and savior " as he did so ..so many christians wont stand their ground and help jws with sensible scriptural argument . how ever eventualy i woke up .mainly from bible reading and my own research .snd watching videos like this...i just think its a shame church goers are not more proactive in actualy helping jws come to christ ..

Rev 11 clearly outlines an arrangement for worship that is acceptable to God. That stage in time..in the last days..there is no time left to make alternative arrangements. Each one will stand by reason of their own faith. Follow carefully the description and historical explanation given by jehovahs witnesses and you can make your own mind up as to whether they are and have fulfilled the role of the two witnesses. There's much evidence of thd plagues spoken of in verses 5 and 6. Verse 10 may well refer to Xmas.. a time when there's an exchanging of gifts.. That's something everyone knows about the witnesses ..That practice was foretold to take place between those who Oppose..the two witnesses..(as a rule the two witnesses stands out ) coincidentally ?) Nowhere else in scripture does it refer to the two witnesses as authorised by God..just in revelation Interestingly. Isa 54:17 tells us that..its not crucially important how men see things ...but how God evaluates that counts ! ' Your righteousness is from me '..says Jehovah. Rev 19:15 speaks of Christs coming..and reading it ..theres no hint of compassion.. Nothing left of the Christ of the first century.. Gods instructions to him rev 1 :1 says 'THESE THINGS MUST TAKE PLACE !!' No way to sidestep them.. Iron rod for sheperding the sheep . That's the most useless object one might think.. What use is an iron rod when there's a wounded sheep stuck in a deep ditch ? The sheperd is ill equipped !! Yet..that is what he has been told to use in sheperding by God isn't it ? He submits.. And so should we.. It's temporary. Why ? It's to create some bait..victims.. Unprotected settlements that will force the nations to come to their defence.. Attacking Gods chosen ones . Psalmist 2 :9 tells of the Unprotected ones plight.. Verse 3 of Gods enemies desire .. Ezek 38 tells us yet more about the final attack Gog made.. The mechanics of it interested me.. Accumulated property..like a wage.comission or fee for defending the unprotected..victims of shunning when children are invited into early baptism..Jesus was baptised at 30 ! Man of lawlessness indeed.. They have done and continue to do these things having negative consequences Parents encouraged to kick out their shunned children offering them no protection.. And the victims of paedophiles end UK scarred so badly..some of whom are nor believed..lacking the evidence of two witnesses.. It's disgraceful. .a genuine tragedy .. I understood the desire to do activism..justice demands it.earn other parents where there's danger of their children being victims.. Governments are daily collecting much money ..from fines for the GB refusal to hand over names of those thst are alleged to be molesters of children. Human reasoning can seem so right... Yet ..what matters most is what The Almighty has in mind. He thought of the nations Attacking his people might cause some to feel full of fright.. But he is at the side..they have made him smile.. Instead of adopting high ranking titles putting men on pedestals.. And then forbidding men to marry They have sought to obey And Enlist the nations hate ... Those taking the action to remove the wicked man after hearing Two witnesses Reporting their horrendous sexual experience of molestation or improper touching puts the guilty person in isolation , shunned.. No need to hear more and more complaints against the same person..just the two will do. That action in itself will save many children and outraged parents from the misbehaviour of the pervert. 20 one priest admitted l heard.. If ONLY THEY HAD TAKEN ACTION ON HEARING THE SECOND of the TWO REPORTS ! How many children were unnecessarily his victims ? That's not how the world is seeing it. Blinded by hatred.. Is t possible that's how God sees it ? Revelation refers to.the two witnesses. That's the time in which we live.

Actually they were asking about his coming to end it all. They would know the time period of the end. Daniel 12:4 was the qualifier that jesus was confirming in Acts 1:7. No they at that time in the first century would not be given the sealed information about our time or even the date and hour of their last days end. What do you think of Jah using an angel making a donkey speak to the false prophet Balaam?? Lighten up my friend in both cases the point is well made.
