***** thanks for the tip. One thing that recently helped me to pop a lot was a sustain band for my knee, like the ones you use in basketball. I hurt my knee with a wall and had nothing big but was using it just to give it a little sustain and don't force it to overcharge its strength. While wearing this my varials got twice as high just for the little help it gives you on release, it was amazing :)

Hey, what helped me to pop my kickflips higher is to have my back foot in the centre of the tail, because i feel i get a more solid snap. Also position your feet so that it covers most of the board. I think this works because you have more room to slide and flick. If you want to just ollie higher, position your front foot further back so that you have more distance to slide your foot up. These are some easy tricks you can do, but what works best is to just do tricks over high obstacles. By doing this, you will get a better feeling of the timing of the flick and slide for higher tricks.
