The part where him and I used to go on long romantic walks at night. I'd brush his hair out of his eyes and he would blush. Then he'd ask me to get on my knees. Though I was confused, I happily obliged. He reached into his pants and whipped it out. I reached out and held onto it tightly. It was small but durable. The iphone 11. He really liked when I filmed those low angles.

Exactly it’s like people thought he was just trying to be better then everyone else by doing triple flips and tricks like that so they had to find a way to put him down as worse then other skaters. When in actuality he just does crazy ass tricks for fun lmao

I can probably tell you why, or at least a part of the reason why. The issue with all these crazy and unique flip variations is that it's often hard to make them look smooth and easy, you know, "steezy". They're frequently kinda awkward looking, you know it's super difficult and respect the talent, but skateboarding is very, very style centric, so if it's hard to make something look smooth and stylish it's not going to be as popular. For a lot of skaters, seeing Neen Williams do a gorgeous flat ground heelflip is more exciting than watching a kid on youtube eek out a 360 hardflip late kickflip. It's similar to why photo-realistic paintings aren't always the most popular, they're technically amazing but lack artistic flair and style. I'm not saying this mentality is right or wrong, that's up to you and your personal preference, but it exists nonetheless.

In hindsight thats just incredible for someone who hasn't been skating very long. He has a natural handle/control of his board that not many people have, especially the way he does lazer flips and 360 hardflips. Even though they're off 5 foot drops and not popped high, that is hard AND dangerous. Rolled ankles for days hahah.
