What a wonderful job. Thank you so much for the very detailed tutorial. Loved the idea of using a harder clayon the ends, had not thought to do that.

Thank you for all the work you put into this tutorial. I had never thought of or seen the suggestion of using softer clay around the design to minimize distortion. Also, the berries are beautiful!

You make it look so easy. My canes would never look half as good. 👍

Haha, i'm glad I didn't make it look complicated! You can do it! I'll have my moments behind the scenes sometimes with the first take, and i'm like, how'd that happen? LOL. Keep at it! As long as you're having fun and keep going you'll improve and get better!

I love your videos. Easy to follow. You give me hope that one day I may actually produce a cane I’m proud of. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and talent.

That is so wonderful to hear Debbie! That inspires me to keep going and hone my polymer clay craft. I love how we can encourage one another in creative pursuits. I'm also rooting for you!!! :-) If you ever decide to make videos yourself, i've love to see what you make.

This is so beautiful! 💞💞 I have tried a couple times doing different canes and my colors seem to smear, if that makes sense! How do you keep all your colors so clean?!🥰

Hi Cassie! Oof, sorry to hear, clay can sometimes be a challenge. My guess would be that the clay is getting too soft for various reasons. One could be the clay brand (Sculpey III is too soft for caning) or you live in warmer climate or you have warm hands. Kato is usually the solution for most clay artist if they want super crisp clean looking canes. Fimo Pro is also great, though, I personally find Fimo more crumbly and take longer to condition, but I have cold hands, haha.
