My daughter has been obsessed with clay since age 3. I stopped buying playdoh when she was 5. And got her polymer clay. Now, at age 7, she is asking to learn this art. I'm so glad to have found your channel. Easy to follow

You are a fantastic teacher! I’ve been working with polymer clay for a few years on and off (in no way an expert though!). Canes have amazed and completely perplexed me! This is the first instructional video that actually computes in my brain. Thank you! Much respect to all the cane artists out there!

This was a great intro to cane making! I tried making some many years ago, failed miserably and finally gave up. However, I just shared your video with someone looking to start out and learn how to make them. I watched it to see if I could learn something new....and of course , I did! My biggest problem is the fact that I have VERY warm hands....year round! (I’m one of those people who radiates heat!) Now I know I can put things into the refrigerator in between stages of cane making to keep them firm. Lots of other great tips. This video was so well done, I just might try my hand at cane making again! Thank you! 🤗

Hi .. I am a doll maker,, I haven’t made anything for a few years because of some family issues. But I started creating the other day because my girlfriend wanted to do a show with me. I sent her out to pick up clay the Sculpey brand . She bought some little packs at Hobby lobby and ordered the big blocks of Sculpey in white and Super Sculpey in original beige. When I opened the little packs there was an Oder of chemicals I’ve never noticed then the clay was so so soft I couldn’t do anything with it. This was the little packs of original sculpy. Then I opened the 1 lb block of white and it was even worse. The original Super sculpt beige looks okay but I haven’t opened it in fear I can’t use it and have to return. So my question is what the heck happened to the Sculpy line of clay. I know Michael’s sells it and they sell craft smart clay . This stuff I bought acts like craft smart which I tried and will never use because if it’s smell and consistency. Now Sculpy is just like craft smart what the heck. ? Now I know it wasn’t because of the store she bought it from because she purchased from several different stores so it couldn’t be the stick and the clay being new. Which I ran into several years ago . It seems like all of the Sculpy brand has gone down hill I hate to say. It’s more like Childs clay but I wouldn’t let me child play with it because of the smell of chemicals. It is really bad smelling it smells like turpentine. Thank you

@rgbuns4ever2 жыл бұрын
Put your cane in the refrigerator for a few hours before reducing it so that all the clay has the same hardness which will prevent or at least vastly decrease the amount of distortion when reducing.
@Sculpey_Official2 жыл бұрын
You can also put your clay on a piece of paper for a few days, the elements in the clay can leach out a bit on to the paper (make sure you have something under the paper to protect your surface) and that will make the clay a bit more firm as well. :)

Dear God💗❤️♥️💖💕💕❤️💞🙏in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the , life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness. I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin. You said in the bible that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved. Right now I confess Jesus as my Lord. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved. Amen.

The Gospel of salvation of our souls: 💜💕💖✨💖❤️📖✝️🕎💡💡❤️❤️💞💕💖❤️💖💕💕💕💕💕For what I received I passed on to you as of [first importance]: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time,
