I haven't tried to get it so tall myself yet (this was what the stylist did) but I just remembered that I have some super-hold hair gel that I used to use in my brows that I should try on my hair! I'm going back in a few weeks to have her cut some cool designs into the shaved sides and I need to ask her what the product was that she used to tease it up because it stayed up like that for 3 days, even after sleeping on it!

@goow there's a teasing comb you can buy that makes it very easy to tease your own hair with a pick on the end to smooth and lift the hair, and she/he probably used a very strong hold gel and a freezing spray.

That Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue you're wearing in these past couple videos looks gorgeous on camera. It's a great product, I use it in the shade Birch.The hydrating one, that is--the new matte version is a chunky, dry and drying mess! I was shocked when I tried it and couldn't even stand to use it as spf on the backs of my hands. I had to throw it out. And IMO I think those berry shades do provide juuuuust enough dimension without adding a grey or black; I like the way they vibrate on their own on your skin tone--deeper skins tones might need more depth though for sure. You look great!

At the time in the 90s I was very grunge with my makeup and since I couldn't find foundation that wasn't orange on me, I never wore a full face (so I didn't ever do my brows). I just wore a ton of black eyeliner and mascara and brown lipstick. And I felt like the odd man out back then, but now - I am SO GLAD I never did the full glam 90s look because being the odd man out saved my eyebrows!!! lol

Yep I have good luck with the VIolet Voss ones - I always wear MAC Paint Pot under all of my eyeshadows so I can only speak to it with that as primer, but they don't crease on me and I don't get fallout throughout the day.
