It was a great anime but sadly the art style really made it shitty to watch but all in all the movies were far better than the 2016 anime. Idk why they didnt just stick with the 2d style throughout it all cuz the times they did it looked beautiful and amazing but the 3d really drew it back

I thought that the 3d was weird but I still liked watching it simply for the amazing story, and I watched the 2016 which the story was pretty good then too but the animation got even worse sadly. But I still do appreciate and love the movies and even the show to a certain degree cuz they got me hooked onto berserk and it's how I started reading manga 😅

I love how a major theme through this portion of berserk is to fight and sacrifice for your comrades. This song matches that vein of the story so well. The final, aching call to "fight for you and I" is wrapped around all that sacrifice and all the betrayal that makes the story compelling and Griffith so repulsive. His figure and his eyes eventually show his true nature: despite all his abilities and his sacrifices, his ambitions weigh more to him than his companionship. His hurt at his true love not reciprocating means taking that same thing. His torture at the hands of evil men means he abandons his comrades into unbelievable horrors. He misses the true goodness of sacrificing yourself for those you care about and abandons himself to evil and power, his refuge from his hurt heart and faith in humanity.
