In 1989, the godfather of anime and manga, Osamu Tezuka passed away due to stomach cancer. During this time, he was working on what he considered his magnum opus, "Phoenix". He begged his editors to let him continue to work and finish the story, but they couldn't bring themselves to let him do that. Phoenix never finished. While Miura's was such short notice, What pain that two of the most gifted artists artists in manga are to be taken away when they deserve so much more.
