Very much slower yes. The m6 has the same engine as the M5 and if you watch M3 v M5/M6 drag racing videos you will see. The M3 is a very quick car but let us not exaggerate saying it is "a bit slower".

People will always look at the stats but the M6 is known for being sluggish despite all the Effort put in it by BMW The M3 is a notorious street car and features a lighter body this one being a competition pack if driven properly using it's dynamic launch control and sport plus competition options could beat the M6 don't get it Twisted the M6 is meant to be better but compared to the other M cars M6 is no where near the best
