So I can actually empathize with Bert on this. I don’t think it’s a narcissistic trait breaking down like he did. I believe his entire personality including the drinking and drugging is simply symptoms of an extremely low self esteem. I have been there before and I had to do years of counseling to get through that. When you have literally no self esteem you drink/drug because it gives you self esteem. Also, wondering about people missing him i translate into a complex probably developed during youth from being bullied, neglect, trauma etc. that can lead to a complex within the person making them feel worthless and unloved. It can implant itself into you and stay there if not identified and worked on. After taking hold sometimes the person identifies with it and it becomes stuck in them often times at a subconscious level. Also the clip where he keeps showing him saying it’s because we are friends with Joe Rogan and he laughs is also being misinterpreted. He says that because he knows it has some validity but the laugh is him hiding the fact that he feels like he doesn’t deserve anything he’s gotten in life. I feel sorry for Bert. Never thought I would feel sorry for a millionaire but I do
