As a type 1 I cant stand hearing type 2 diabetic medications and type 2 gets all the recognition! simply off the fact that people make themselves type 2 and for the most part can change it themselves!

T1D is an autoimmune reaction! T2D is for the most part lifestyle habits and genetics. even with stronger "genetic" lineage data still shows diet and exercise is a direct limiter and almost outright doesnt allow the gene to partake! Obesity difference between the two alone i mean my god! just like heart disease is genetic, im not gonna be surprised when someone who smokes and eats all day dies of a heart attack at 50!
