Yeah it's crazy how 3-4 million per year is like a totally normal amount to them. Just goes to show you how many levels there are. Most people won't see 3-4 million in TOTAL in their lifetime. Even upper middle class on average don't have those savings at retirement. That's why I don't understand how we can tax the dentist making 500k a year in the same tax bracket as some of these entertainers and CEOS who are making 50M a year.

What I’m saying is if you’re going to tax people a different percentage at 100k vs 200k why shouldn’t their be more brackets above 400-500k? If you made a bracket for all income over 10M being taxed at 50% for example you could raise enough money to then reduce the rates for everybody else by a few percentage points.

Just here to say 1. We went to Bert’s outdoor tour…and it may have been the postpartum hormones, but I cried during the final applause. It was *euphoric* to be near people, laughing, hearing some of my favorite comedians (Ms Pat, Bert and Tom on the phone), AND getting a break from quarantine w a newborn. 2.
