@timmycollins7665 Жыл бұрын
That's not what I saw in the episode. I saw a bunch of assholes attacking a man with his phobias and OshKosh B'Gosh seemed to be the one getting the most pleasure out of it. The other guys seemed to get that it wasn't that funny but he laughed like a twisted evil Indian Sméagol. He was getting way too much joy out of that. To me that was even worse than Ari slipping him ecstasy. Both things could have caused a panic attack, heart attack, or even a stroke at least with the ecstasy there is some control in knowing it's just a drug. I have never complained about comedy ever...but that was so fucked up. That's like taking a small child that is scared of the dark and locking the child in a dark closet while laughing on the other side of the door as the child struggles to get out. I found nothing funny about it. It would have ben funny to see Bert punch Sméagol in the face while he was laughing so hard. There is a big difference between fears and phobias. I'm proud of Bert for holding it together the best he could. Those guys aren't his friends and they can blame Segura all they want for doing that but they did that shit. Akash was the worst with the laughing in my opinion. He is a sadistic person and it showed in that moment.

"This right here is why you deserve it" nail on fucking head. Bert isn't one of y favourite stand ups but there' not many more people than him who I love to listen to just sitting chatting. I genuinely believe that if you were to spend time with Bert he would be the exact same person as he presents on podcasts. Keep smashing it Bert and keep being your self big yin!

I actually feel really bad for @bertKreischer like he genuinely was scared and knowing how bad his anxiety can be and deeply affects him and shuts him down. I don’t think he thinks it was funny but he is so aware of trying to not make Andrew feel bad for trying to be funny so he’s saying he’s ok… Before anyone tries to come at me saying “it’s just a joke, learn to appreciate a comedy bit” or anything like that I absolutely recognize what they were trying to do with the bit but honestly blame @TomSegura bc he knows how truly afraid and what a visceral reaction he has to them so although he knows Bert is Bert and will brush it under the rug and internalize it that makes it all the worse bc now he’s going to live with the fact he just got embarrassed on an insanely massive podcast that made him look like that.

Wonder if Andrew ever realized that the reason Tom told Andrew about that fear is because he would never do that to his friend but he'll definitely enjoy pranking someone who's ignorant of Bert's fear to pull a stunt like this on Bert and watch it from a far 😂

Yeah… man I kinda hate them for it. If Bert had anyone in the room, like true boys, they should’ve shut that down one he was clearly all panicked and maybe even threw hands if shit went sideways. It’s fuckin me up that Tom set him up as I love them both and if someone did this to one of my brothers, not the prank itself, but the continuing w it once it’s beyond clear he’s legit fucked, I’d def flip. And I’m not talkin tough guy shit, just natural instinctual gut unavoidable hard reaction. God I hated that shit hahahah I just watched that part a minute ago and came into these comments immediately Jesus.
