For sure one of the best orchestras in all of Europe. Fantastic performance.

It's in a technical way absolutely exceptional and in a musical way very touching and moving. After listening only once, my blood pressure now is at the level of the US government debt deficit. Wonderful.

Thanks for this performance. Actually, I think I'm listening a very good orchestra and director. Hopefully, all orchestras should take into account the advices from the directors. Only friends making music!!!. Congratulations Daniel, this a very best tribute to Claudio Abbado

Best recording of this piece I've seen on youtube (save the conductor's noises cutting into the music). But in any case, I greatly enjoyed it, thank you!

I agree that this is very well conducted. Still, there is no way this is anywhere close to either of the following two sensational performances available on KZbin - Kertesz/London: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qJvYp3aCmd2Xo5I or Abbado/Berlin: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aWeld2p3abJnpZI

Aurally this is probably the best performance available on KZbin as of February, 2024, BUT - and it's a big 'but' - why is the camera directed at the conductor for the entire performance instead of highlighting the many delightful instrumental passages in this beautiful work? To those who would argue that one should listen rather than watch my response would be: then why post it as a video when a sound-only format would suffice.

Why only the one camera angle? We hear the wood winds and brass, but can't see them!

That's just an overture... how do you follow that with ANYTHING?
@angreagach Жыл бұрын
You don't. It's a concert overture, which is complete in itself.
