Besançon and Swiss decks: Miller, Gassmann, and 1JJ Swiss

I LOVE the 1JJ!!! I have the distressed version from MPC (thanks to Simon Hermits Cave) and I found an extremely old guidebook by Stuart Kaplan for $1.76

I know this video is a year old (I’m binge watching your older videos 😅😍) but wanted to share that there is a cool version of the 1JJ Swiss on Make Playing cards by Vincent Pitisci. There’s a walkthrough on Hermits Cave if you want to check it out. It’s called the Revised 1JJ Swiss because Vincent redid the coloration, fixed some of the printing/coloring errors (he goes into detail on his channel) and also made a brand new High Priestess & Hierophant card as bonus cards for the deck. I haven’t purchased a copy yet *budget* but it’s on my list. I think you might really like it as an alternative to this US Games version.

Ah nice to meet a fellow deep-diver! I’ve seen Pitisci’s deck and it’s nice. I agree if I wanted to read with the 1JJ it’s a good option. But the 1970’s US Games edition is more of a historic artifact to me. I have other Besançon decks that I like to read with. I love Vincent’s channel and his clear and conscience approach to reading cards.
