A changed bible is not the word of God. If you'd read in authentic Aramic, it would still be the word of God. But when man changes it, it is not 100% the word of God anymore. So if you have the opportunity to have access to the authentic version of the bible in Aramic unchanged. The Bible would be for the muslims also the book of God which they could follow. I think it is unfair to compare the bible and quran because the whole entire Quran was written all at once in less than ten years when Abu Bkr and Zayid Thabit wrote the Quran down after Muhammad died. While the Bible was written over hundreds and hundreds of years. The bible has changed because verses and books were being written down because God was interacting with the world. The complete bible took time to develop. To have the original bible makes no sense at all, you would have to have every original script of every book in the bible which would be damn near impossible due to the bible books being written many and many years apart. Plus we still have the standard of the bible (which only was the old testament at the time) of the time Jesus called the Septuagint which was compiled by the greeks 100 years before Jesus. And if the septuagint was corrupt Jesus would have said so himself instead he quotes scripture so Muslims believe Jesus qupted corrupted scripture. Plus all scholars agree that the contradictions of the oldest new testement manuscripts do not make any difference but are just small differences that do not change the basis of the Christian belief. Plus early Christians were persecuted for 300 years unlike Muslims who killed and waged war and created empires which is against the Quran for Muslims can only kill in self defense and invasions are obviously not defense. So obviously we only have copies of original letters of the new testement. It is very unfair to compare the Quran to the bible which has a way more complicated history. Also Muslims believe the bible is corrupt so christians do not need to have bibicle evidence of their beliefs because it is corrupt so it is more accurate then to rely on the teachings of the disciples that passed down to the Orthodox christians. And if the bible is corrupt then muslims cannot cherry pick verses to back up their faith becuase there is no way to tell if the verses they quote are corrupt, and if the bible is corrupt Muslims should not use corrupted scripture to back up their beliefs but only quran verses.
