Another great video Uncle Matt. I'd like to add that it's also important to remove noises that are distracting or remedy them if possible. Noisy chair? Oil it! People doing yardwork outside? Try to find another place to study where you can't hear them or pick a different time to study if possible or maybe wear active noise-cancelling headphones in addition to listening to the right music. Distracting noises can be just as bad as the wrong music or worse, as they can get irritating and make you lose concentration and focus.

Hi there RedemptUs. Yes. You make some very good points. Thank you. I know exactly what you mean about how distracting noises can break a person's concentration.

I should have been more positive on the first comment; good video. You confirmed everything I suspected after I experimented with music and even "sounds/noise" for studying. I've noticed certain "pink" noise or low freq. noise isn't good to study with. I'm going to experiment with other sounds like this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/opzOeJ-MjNuegs0 I think your individual personality has an influence too. Example: I have a Piano for Study on my Spotify. But I discovered that I can hear the piano peddles working and it bugs me too much. Distracts me; go figure huh.

Hi again RMD1. It's all good. I actually agree with you about the state of modern music. You make some good points about the individual nature of using things that work for you.

What are your opinion about this as I heard it somewhere before, Suppose a person knows english language but they do not know other language like japanese etc so a person should listen to song that they aren't familiarized with the Language so that is does not affect there cognitive functions
@BeSmarterFaster13 күн бұрын
Hello Arthur. I haven't heard that before. I have heard that if someone WANTS to learn a language, that watching TV in that foreign language is a good way to force yourself to really listen. Many people have said that it's effective. Regarding songs, I don't know. Also I'm not sure what you mean by not affecting their cognitive functions.
@Arthur-n2l3x13 күн бұрын
@@BeSmarterFaster I mean to say that as it is said in the video that songs with lyrics or rap are not beneficial so if we don't know the language then we wouldn't be able to distract our mind as it will a totally new language which your brain does not know and by utilizing this one can listen to energetic music (Give your opinion uncle matt)
