I had something really fun happen today after watching this video (and all Tom’s most recent which have been so eye opening for me!). I was telling myself the story of being wealthy, abundant and blessed today. I’m going to be a guest at a fancy wedding in October and have been wanting to find a beautiful dress, but don’t want to spend a lot of money. I saw the perfect dress a few months back but it was $300 and I didn’t want to spend that much. But I have been thinking about that dress and saying wouldn’t it be nice if I could find something like that for much less. I decided to do some back to school shopping for my kids this afternoon and was in a store where I walked past a clearance rack of dresses, so thought I would casually take a look. I wasn’t even there to look for dresses. All of the dresses were rather ordinary and inexpensive looking, except for one which stuck out to me immediately - a gorgeous floor length floral organza gown. I thought “wow this looks expensive and has to be out of my price range even on clearance.” Well imagine my shock when I saw the tag said $50! I thought, “I have to try it on for that price!” But then I saw it was several sizes bigger than what I wear. That didn’t stop me. I thought, “can’t hurt to just try it on.” Well I tried it on and it fit perfectly! (Aside from the length which needs to be taken up a little 🙃). Then I saw the label was a very high end designer and knew the dress had to be in the $500-$700 range originally. I looked up the dress and found it online for sale from the designer for $1100!!! 🤯 I nearly fell over right there in the store. I couldn’t believe it! I nearly cried with joy. I’m going to dazzle in this dress. I cannot wait for the wedding!

Enjoyed your insights on the futility of trying to “Feel Good” and “Be Happy” when you don’t understand the true nature of your Being which is pure, unadulterated JOY!! 😊 Tom, I teach English as a Second Language (ESL) to students of all ages around the world. In the “kingdom of God… within” I am blessed to travel in person to spread the “Good News” through ESL and our CanDo! CO-OP while exploring the Wonders of the World together with friends and family! It is truly GLORIOUS!! Aa a linguist I am also intrigued by your accent, which sounds somewhat familiar. The pronunciation of one word in particular caught my ear: AWARE. Every now and again it comes out sounding like “a-WE’RE,” which gives new meaning to the concept for me. Years ago when I certified to teach Mike Dooley’s “Infinite Possibilities” program, Mike advised me to “Just Be Aware.” It has been my mantra for over a decade now. Thank you for expanding my mind to encompass ‘I’ as ‘We’ or Elohim (the God of Love which Christ Jesus embodied.) ♥️✨💖 Happy to be amongst kindred spirits. I didn’t realize the group was new, but I’m not surprised. I love FB groups and always create one to fulfill my desire to be connected with my Higher Self on a human level!! 😃

The way I interpret this is whether you identify as a wealthy person or poor person you still have the same range of emotions in each state of being. Who do you say I AM? Choose your desired state. The emotions are still there, but you are who you choose to be.

The root cause of our emotions lie in a particular concept of self. Change your self-concept and I guess you start aligning with that assumed and claimed concept. I'm trying this now as I have a lot of fears around money and making ends meet working for myself.
