Zenni Glasses Reviewed: A Look At Selection, Quality, & Rewards Programs

My mother just received her first pair of Zenni’s today and she’s loving them. I’m so happy for her because we were about to spend almost $500 for her glasses that’s with insurance and it was about $400 without insurance. Make it make sense. We got her prescription progressives and more for $75 from Zenni’s. I just ordered my own pair too.

That is a significant savings! I know Zenni takes some insurance, I suppose you may have used it as well.

I have a pair of Zenni sunglasses purchased 2 years ago. One of their better acetate frames, spring hinges, progressive lenses, polarized, inscribed with my name inside one temple. Total cost was about $85us. Still have them, excellent quality and style. Very satisfied with every aspect of the purchase👍

Zenni has been great, cheap enough to try different styles and options- including sunglasses. The case and cloth included with every pair is also a great bonus. The rewards program is pretty nice too, as well as the sales

Got my first pair of glasses ayer almost 40 years on this earth. Wish I would have paid the extra $50 for my insurance to pay for transitions. Now I'm going to give Zenni a chance and order a fairly cheep self tinting glasses at about $40 all in. Maybe a little more of I get the anti scratch coating. Then if they are decent quality I will deff be buying a couple more pair just to change up style. Zenni does have a huge selection of diff lenses. From name brand to budget. Clear, self tinting and sunglasses that are in the mirror tint, gradient, etc. And all in multiple colors. Many diff coatings for any and all needs you might have. It just seems to good to be true. But worth a try. Heck, you can get prescription glasses for like $10 of you just want basic

Thanks for the information. I've found that their XL selection is very low. Do you find that to be true as well? Also, would a Large fit someone with about 140 mm frame?

Thanks for the video! I just ordered from Zenni after a lifetime of brick and mortar purchased frames. They should be here in a couple of days. Do you have any recommendations for online contacts?

Many thanks! As far as contacts, I've only ever ordered from 1800Contacts and have not had any issues. However, it's slightly different from Zenni in that the Contacts companies sell you the same brand you'd buy at the ophthalmologist, where as Zenni manufactures their own glasses. Rafael

I now own 12 vooglams prescription glasses lol 🤣 1 Zenni optical coming 1 fytoo coming lol 🤣 i own a few that tint outside some blue light blocking and no fancy add ons lol 🤣 i love 1.61 lenses always and always get anit reflective coatings i have to no coatings drive me nuts lol

I'm concerned about quality of their progressive lenses. That's where quality can vary a lot between suppliers. Anyone found a scientific review of their lenses?

I lo ce zenni optical getting two new bold ones this time around last time i played ot way safe this tkme nope bold colors like the hair lol rainbow pair and tortoiseshell red and yellow all tint in the sun

I am a bit nervous that if I order my prescription lenses on zenni, my prescription might be messed up. That is my only concern that's blocking me from ordering prescription lenses online. Have they ever gotten your prescription wrong.

From the many orders we've placed with Zenni, we've never had issues with them sending glasses with an incorrect prescription. However, if this were to happen, I'm sure they'd correct the issue at no cost to you. Rafael

Received my glasses today and they are totally wrong. Came with bifocals in lenses and I've never had bifocals. So very dissatisfied! Would not recommend this company.

Really sorry to hear this. We've ordered dozens of glasses from Zenni in the past and have not had any issues, though I suppose they manufacture so many that there's bound to be mistakes along the way. I'm sure their customer service will be quick to remediate the situation. Rafael

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. I suppose its possible that for more intricate lenses such as bifocals, the traditional brick & mortar avenue is the best. Rafael
