I found this video by searching for Kenya Tillery, and I'm entranced. It may sound a little 'out there', because I never knew her, but her spirit, along with that of my deceased father, literally guided me to the physical presence of the home she grew up in. It was the fall of 2013. I was out driving, looking for a house, and about to give up when I took a detour. It was driven as if my car was on autopilot. When I came upon the house, there was something about it. I knew I had to see it. As it turned out, Kenya's mother was eager to sell, and I knew exactly why I was there when I toured the house and saw the well loved piano with original composition sheet music still sitting there. You see, my daughter is a young and aspiring singer and composer, just seventeen now. I can sense the likeness of their sweet, creative spirits. It's a beautiful thing when souls conspire on the other side.
