I’ve successfully built all of JC’s gold /xp farms and they’ve all been amazing. This one is completely in another league. I’m already up to level 55 and it’s only been turned on for 10 minutes. What I appreciate about JC’s farms is that his farms are step by step procedures , and because of that I don’t have to waste my time fixing mistakes. I’m a retired teacher and Minecraft is actually my hobby now! Thank you JC for the best farm I’ve ever built by far.

This is the best farm I have ever built. Works perfect and so does the sorter/ sword burners. and the spawn speed he shows is real not sped up. Level 1-40 in 5 or 6 mins. 10/10 I recommend this for bedrock

Could you let me know if it stays working? I know the redstone clock tends to break after awhile on Realms, or more specifically when you log out of the world and go back in. I've done many farms with the redstone clock and it continues to break on me. I just dont wanna waste my time again :(

@@alexandrocamacho7902it breaks when someone goes too far from the farm without turning it off. this distance isnt the same for everyone. the default simulation distance on minecraft bedrock realms is 4 chuncks. simulation distance is how far your game will register change. a mob moving is change. lava flowing down a mountain is change. redstone turning on an off is change. all of these are changing their states, or position. im assuming that your simulation distance is on 4 chunks, so that means you should never go more than 64 blocks away from a redstone machine without turning it off. if your simulation distance is on 5 chunks, you can go no more than 80 blocks away. i personally recommend 4 chuncks, because the more chunks you have simulating will add lag to the realm or world. 4 chunks is the lowest simulation distance btw

This farm took incredibly long to build, mostly because I made it underground but man was it worth it. Had to travel far for some of the resources and it took a while for me to set everything up but it works incredibly well. While writing this write this i went up 10 levels and counting. Never made a farm before but now i know for sure i can trust this channel whenever I'm looking for any farm tutorials. Also if you're making it underground like me, don't make it below Y - 0. The pigmen wont spawn if the portals are below Y - 0.

I built a 6 portal farm similar to this. It has an auto smelter to smelt all of the golden swords too. It is fueled by a kelp farm that I built right next to it. The amount of XP and gold I get from it is just nuts lol.

Excellent video as always. Just a couple of suggestions. 1. Placing the lava compartment at the top of the portals saves ziglins spawning above it and falling in to the lava. 2. Use furnaces instead to smelt the swords and get a lot more nuggets. Also, as a heads up. Be aware the portals must be above y level 0 or they won’t spawn ziglins

Important notes: - Build the structure EAST to WEST. The portal entrances should be facing east to west. This allows the trap door ignition to work properly. - Enclose the exposed portals. If you plan to afk this overnight, you have to do this or else the next time you enter the nether, you’ll have a billion Phantoms roaming around from the accumulation.

I have given this design steroids in my world! It is now a quad gate, double trident killer lined up so the opening to each killer is one block either side of my AFK spot so I get double the XP and loot! It is a beast of an XP farm now! LVL 30 in under 2 mins hahaha

Just built this in my survival world. Needed an iron farm beforehand just for the materials lol. Works perfect except for the hopper minecart collection area. Wasnt collecting loot under the kill floor, so i removed the floor and added mud and hoppers instead. Thanks JC! 🙂

What do you mean you removed the floor and added mud and hopers? Did you place the mud and hoppers under the chest?

@@EvilxUnique mud blocks are not full blocks, they are not as tall as normal blocks, so if you have a mud block on top of a hopper, any item that lands on the mud block gets transfered into the hopper underneath. Its more expensive(more iron) than the minecart method, but performs wayyyy better.

if you take his design and double it, just take his design make it again with 2 blocks inbetween the first portal. you have to modify the water section just a little bit. not too hard to figure it all out. but doing this made my farm so fast that the trident killer couldn't keep up with the amount of piglins lol i hit level 100 within an hour

That part still doesn't work the best, I haven't figured out a really good method for collecting items. Too many swords lolol

Did you place the redstone torch correctly? That torch powers the hopper to keep items from going down. The other restone is to measure how many items are in the hopper and once high enough itll put power to the torch to turn it off, allowing items through the hopper

I highly doubt anyone will ever read this but this farm can be updated extremely easily by using crafters in the sorting system. If you set a comparator out of a crafter it will send out up to 9 blocks of signal that you can use to power the crafter to turn the gold nuggets into ingots and then ingots into blocks by building a second one. To do on both sides it takes about 36 more redstone, 4 comparators, 4 repeaters, and 6 hoppers or 2 hoppers and 2 mine cart hoppers depending on how you integrate the gold ingots and nuggets to make blocks

By far the best farm I have ever built in bedrock. This thing rocks. I went from a kelp farm for XP and switched to a spammer farm because the kelp farm wasn’t fast enough. I found the Shawnee farm lacking as well, even after I went around to every cave within 50 blocks and lit them all up. I needed powered rails for an iron farm in building. I decided to just make a farm for it and used this one since your farms have never let me down. It was a ton of work, but WELL worth it!! Now I have no need for the other XP farms as this one gives me a ton of it! Thank you so much for posting these videos and for explaining everything in such fine detail. I never get confused.

So I learned the hard way here but in 1.21 the portals need to be facing north south. The portals won’t ignite if they are facing east west. Built the whole thing east west and had to tear it all down and rebuild it to face north south. Luckily with an extra repeater and redstone I was able to just rebuild the top and keep the kill chamber intact. Hopefully JC can pin that info to his top comment to save others the hassle. Amazing farm though!

@@profe.bernysegura8538 I have a tip for you: try paying attention to the coordinates shown in the video. For example, there are X and Y coordinates, which can be either positive or negative. In the video, the portals are built from X 100 to X 122(not the exact coords in the video), for instance. The X coordinate represents the north (positive X) and south (negative X). So build the portal alligned to walking in the X direction. Not the Y direction as this is west and east

Great farm I had one problem though it could just be me but while I was building. I built the sorting system/hoppers 1 block closer to the ladder than it should of been which made it so none of the loot was going through the block. Just a reminder to really pay attention. 👍

Just a tip I like to build my farms in a super flat world just to check and see if they work first so fire spreads is automatically off so you have to turn it back on for your trapdoor igniter to work I’m stupid lol

I built this on a superflat world, the portals are igniting, the world is on hard, fire spread is on, and the trapdoor system is facing east and west. No piglins are spawning. @@arma12345 Yeah, I was able to find the problem and solve it. The problem with my farm was that the observers under the lava were not working like normal. If the little red lights on the observers are not flashing, you should rebuild the whole lava system. Hope this helps.

Very good farm, was skeptical at first because the only ever method I have used for XP was the old Kelp generator machine which was VERY good. (30-40 levels with a switch of a button after its initial start) But it turned out really well as I gained 40 levels within maybe 4-5 mins on Hard Mode. Worth a build. (PS: Fire spreads ON)

I'm having trouble getting the lava to start the portal in the realm on xbox. Ok so I found the issue there's a bug where fire spread is only spreading to east/west not north/south so I just got unlucky and built it in the wrong direction

I used the previous version of this farm that was underground with no trident. I used to recover the swords and melt them on the furnaces. An improvement could be that, to melt the swords to recover more gold nuggets.

Probably built it wrong or the hoppers are still full of random items after you sorted them, make sure every hopper doesn't have items, then sort them again

Honestly the best farm I’ve built. Got 20 levels in just a couple minutes, and I started at lvl 30. The amount of gold you get as well is incredible.

I built this is 1.21.2 with a few modifications and it works like a charm! Modifications are listed here, with the rates I got: 1. Instead of powder snow, I used water. ( I couldn’t get powder snow, too far). This also meant I used less redstone torches and built the thing very close to the bottom of the portal. 2. Instead of minecarts with hoppers, I put 4 hoppers under the trident killer, all connected to a single storage and sorting system. 3. Instead of 2 storages, I built one, but bigger! By adding chests under the first row of chests and connecting them with another row of hoppers underneath the first one, I saved up materials while keeping the same amount of storage! 4. The dispenser into the lava I changed how it activates. By adding a comparator, a repeater and some redstone connecting to the dispenser, I realized I could have one less lever (I hate having a lot of levers to activate for one farm) 5. I then moved the afk spot under the hoppers so I could get all the xp that got stuck in them. Rates: For 30 minutes on hard difficulty, I got: 28 stacks of nuggets Around 35 gold ingots Around 30 stacks of rotten flesh (I think more, I don’t exactly remember) And 85 levels of xp after repairing my tools. Future modifications, adding crafters to make gold blocks and ingots, adding furnaces for smelting all the swords, and more chests for rotten flesh.

Just made this farm and was at 50 levels in 5 mins after dying and losing everything in the void😭😭 such a good farm and I’ve left my game running to hopefully have enough levels to max enchant after the arsenal game that starts in 10… thank you so much man I really needed a farm this good, only took about an hour to build aswell

jason here. Jason i like this one. i did change up and put a comparator instead of the redstone clock. I feel it dispences faster. Instead of tick tick tick, its ticktickticktick etc.
