I have extensively ridden both FZ 2.0 and Gixxer. I think gixxer is more fun to ride. However seats are little on the stiffer side so you will start to feel the butt aches after 50-60 KMs. Bike likes to be revved and even if you have a pillion you can still push it. Gearbox is smooth and low and mid range is phenomenal. I specially like the exhaust note on the bike. It is the best sounding 150CC bike in the segment. Coming on to the FZ 2.0 FI makes this bike really smooth but you will that it is more subtle than its predecessor. Looks nice but the instrument cluster is very poor. You can see the cost cutting done by Yamaha. Pillion comfort is also nice and you can modify the bike to look more attractive

just a question, why is a kill switch given so much importance in various reviews across youtube? Turning the ignition key off turns of the engine, doesn't it ?

The Purpose of Engine kill switch is to make sure the Rider can turn off the Engine in any emergency situation .Turning the bike off using the keys shuts off all the electricals on the bike including lights but the kill switch stops only the engine and leaves the lightsrunning.

the ignition key has two steps of turn in almost all bikes , one for killing the engine and the next turn for shutting the electrical completely before pulling off the key. Doesn't it ? Fzs gt fi radial tyre better switch gear..slick gear shift..bs4 models feels much mre punchier even though the mechanical parts remains the same... N finally due to fi..i got 47+ in the city... Dnt gt fooled by that 13 bhp.. It got light weight chasis...hemisphere type combustion chambar...mkz the byk supreme punchy at lower gear..u can tour ..race n offroad..thatz why fz saleschart is 20k in april 2018..while gixxer n hornet r 4k n 7k respectively... *remember one thing- 150cc is nt for race...some idiots till sayz my bike is 2 secs faster in 0-100 race.. In real world that 2-3 secs u cnt feel

Hello! I am in a dilemma as to which bike to buy (CB Hornet 160, Apache RTR 160 4V, Gixxer or Yamaha FZ 2.0). I would like to know one thing (a question that may sound "strange" or may be unheard of ;)), which of the above are best suited for both long ride and also good (comfortable) for pillion riders (Say my mom or my imaginary girlfriend). I was about to book the FZ, but the back seat for the pillion rider is harribly uncomfortable! So any suggestions from your end? Performance wise, all of them are similar (and have some pro's and con's over others) and price point is similar. So my main concers is, which is the better one interms of "pillion rider comfort"? cheers!
