Pretty good list! Only have a few thoughts Snake? Doubt it was yet at a level that was truly a memorable game in the 70's Indy 500? I think maybe the coin-op "Sprint 2" was the far superior game... the Atari 2600 cart was a weak version of it. Blue Shark - yuck Deep Scan - also too slow and random to be memorable Star Raiders! - for sure, but the Atari 2600 version (as shown) came out in 1980. Atari 400/800 version was 1979 And three other games which could replace or supplement the list IMHO: Sky Raiders - (1978) Atari Radar Scope - (1979)- Nintendo Warrior - (1979) Cinematronics But yeah, thanks for the video. Might not be the most exciting period of gaming, but it is formative. Especially the trinity of Space Invaders, Galaxian, Asteroids!

Uh - ok video - but your dates are WAY off in the title. There is no way this is 72-79. Sonic was first released in 91. Hell, the C64 didn't come out until '82. Clean up your facts, man.

Video game or arcade game? I do not like to conflate the high-quality arcade electronics with the true TV video games. Nice list, but don't mix? Pac-Man on arcade was far better than Atari Pac-Man, i.e.
