What was one of your favorite catchphrases from an 80s commercial?

You're not fully clean unless you're zest fully clean! Gatorade is thirst aid, for that deep down body thirst! Ya! ( Maybe early 90's ) Lol

For me, the better Pace Picante catchphrase will always be "get a rope." There was a series of Grey Poupon commercials, and they progressively took themselves less and less seriously. My absolute favorite is where the two Rolls keep backing up and pulling forward because they cannot get the rear windows aligned. There's a whole other category of commercials from this time that had longer dialogue you could quote, like the FedEx commercials with the speed talker. When I'm given a rush job at work I will still fire off "whenitabsolutelypositivelyhastobetherebytomorrow". And the ultimate was from McDonald's (if I recall, for a brief period of time, if you could recite the whole thing flawlessly, you could score a free Big Mac). All together, now: "Two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame-seed bun". Very good, class.

I say a lot of these phrases. I love the nostalgia. I also say the “plop plop fizz fizz oh what a relief it is” Alka Seltzer. I say “Calgon take me away” all the time! Especially when stressed 😂 And the Kit Kat jingle “Give me a break, give me a break, break me off a piece of that Kit Kat bar” Sorry for the long comment, but I also wanted to comment on your beer after mowing the grass. My dad always did that. It was something about the smell of fresh cut grass, the hot weather, while being all sweaty that seemed to go well with a cold beer

I remember some of these, but I didn't watch much T.V because if you were home, you were usually put to work so I stayed away for as long as I could, Which isn't easy when your step Father is a no nonsense military vet.
