They should all catch and release and if they want to do photo ops they can have some bass in a tank when they go on stage they can always put a disposable tag on a tail or something so they can’t keep catching the same fish over a few days that disintegrates in the water after a week or something so people can’t keep recording the same fish
@timbo60823 жыл бұрын
Dude better watch out. MLF is gonna be all up in his wake with an official, drone, helicopter, and a live cameraman in a wet suit trying to get better underwater footage. They might as well have him tow a pontoon carrying the live show hosts too. Dude has turned bass fishing into a powerlifting competition. Stay humble and keep the hammer down Wheeler!

What’s the rule on the hook being on the outside of the mouth?
@jprizzle26043 жыл бұрын
Doesn’t count , cause they are fishing spawning fish and using floggers. They could just look down there and set the hook and snag them. So they have to show the fish ate it

Those scopes were used to decimate the 15lb+ largemouth population in Florida in the early 80's. That is the single most UNETHICAL thing I've ever seen anglers do.
@jmccOutdoors3 жыл бұрын
Is that the orange thing he keeps picking up from the water ?
@shadygraves3 жыл бұрын
@@jmccOutdoors Yes
@shadygraves3 жыл бұрын
@@jmccOutdoors Panoptix is not enough; the recently declassified U.S. Navy sonar technology doesn't satisfy this generation of anglers. Now they need a bathyscope to look into the water-not to look for beds-nooooo, it's to ensure their "safe return" AFTER poaching- I mean catching.
@shadygraves3 жыл бұрын
When I was younger, a 19lb largemouth was caught on a brown Culprit worm in Florida. Anglers across the south were excited at the possibility of breaking George Perry's 50 year old world record. Then came the bathyscopes. No, they're not new. They were used all over the Florida peninsula to absolutely decimate her population of 15lb+ largemouth. The UNETHICAL use of scopes single handedly destroyed any and all further possibility of breaking the record...forever. The fact that they're even LEGAL, much less allowed in professional competition, is disgusting poaching beyond anything ever seen in the sport. Exploiting a natural resource for personal financial gain like this is unethical, bordering on criminal.
