It can, with a $2000 dollar budget you can definitely get a 4080 super, I'm honestly unsure why a 4070ti super was used for something this high of a price point.

Wow this looks great I'll probably do this! Except change the CPU to either 7800x3D or 7950x3D with either a RX 7900 XT or XTX. For a while now I couldn't decide what Case, Cooler or Motherboard to get. Any advice on my alternates please lmk I'm new!
@rangersmith465210 күн бұрын
Same. In fact, I have the parts on hand (7800X3D, 7900XTX) to assemble a new gaming PC. The GPU is coming from my 13700K build that's been in stasis for a couple of months. Suggested parts: Motherboard -- B650E Taichi Lite, PG Riptide, or PG Lightning. System drive -- whatever 2TB Gen 4 drive you find at the best price (mine's a Crucial T500). Case -- Montech Air 903 Base or Max. Cooler: Any Thermalright double stack air cooler is all you need for the 7800X3D. You'll want a PSU of at least 850 watts and probably 1000. I'm using a Montech 1200W. Have fun!
@Audiosan799 күн бұрын
If this was not a MSI sponsored video, the performance might be a lot better. You would save money on the case, cooler and motherboard. Swap out the CPU for a 7000 series CPU, get a cheaper SSD (any 2TB gen4 with DRAM), and you would have a 4080 Super or a 7900XTX instead. And still have money left over for some custom cables extentions and maybe even a bigger/extra SSD.

This is the price point and performance level where an Nvidia card actually begins to make sense. If one argues that ray tracing and DLSS "performance" are good reasons to buy Nvidia, then one should also be aware that ray tracing and DLSS eat a GPU's VRAM. The 4070 Ti Super is the lowest-end Nvidia choice where these simple truths are offset by actual specs and proven results.

@calabemccool10 күн бұрын
If you’re thinking about upgrading go to 7900gre. A 7600 with 7800xt will be able to handle any game at 1440p ultra settings very well. A 7900gre will just 100% insure that.
