He's awesome. He is incredible good defender and can guard all 5 positions. He's agressive in offense, can shoot, also rebound. In one word, he wont be only the future of spurs but whole NBA.

Around what time do you believe KD will win a championship? Notice i say WHEN he wins one. I think in 2016 he goes to the wizards and him and John Wall are very capable of winning it all

I believe he'll win it with OKC. OKC were awesome this year and some believed they'd win it all. KD and Westbrook are awesome but they need Ibaka in offense. Ibaka is amazing in defense but if they want to win a championship, then Ibaka needs to step it up in offense. Like every team, they need a BIG 3 if they want to win it. P.S. I see what you mean... If they get a good shooting guard there chances go up from 30% to 60%, and I agree about Ibaka, They need Russell Westbrook to be more of a point guard, not a highlight film guy, I think Ibaka will be great next season and he will finish the Big 3, maybe big 4 if they trade for Iman Shumpert. Yeah.. Jamal Crawford would fit in perfectly in OKC. And as I read that "Westbrook to be more of a point guard" I laughed because while I'm doing his mix right now, I'm amazed with some of his dunks. Great mix! Kawhi's shooting coach Chip Engelland is a former PBA player who also coached Steve Kerr and Grant Hill back in the day. Kawhi is in Manila today for the charity all-star game with Harden, Paul George, Blake Griffin and Lillard.

Being a Rockets fan, I've always had the utmost respects for the Spurs. They're not only consistent in being a great team. They also have a great developmental program for their players. The perfect example, maybe in NBA history is Kawhi Leonard. Although I am a Rockets fan(I luv me some James Harden). I have no issue saying Kawhi is officially my favorite player in the NBA. I knew from last year's final that he was going to be one of the greatest players of his generation. Not only because of his talent level, but because of who he plays with and for. Playing with a Hall of Famer like Duncan and the fact that his coach is Popovich. Gives you the NBA's version of Frankenstein, created in the Spurs laboratory. At only 23 years old, this man is already a force to be reckon with. His defense is the best in the NBA. His has good ball handling. A beautiful low post game with a solid jumper. He's great in transition(dunks at will) and he is only getting better by the day. Anthony Davis is the only other guy. That I can seriously think of, that will challenge Lebron for the throne of being the best player. I have my money on Kawhi being the top dog and look forward to his progression as a NBA superstar.

He is a great defensive player and decent shooter, but it pisses me off when people think he is offensively dominant. He cannot create a shot for himself off the dribble, he is more than capable of adding that to his game, but currently does not have that dimension. I would much rather have Paul George or Jimmy Butler to pass the ball to on the Offensive end. Leonard's offensive success is very much due to the system he is in, same with Danny Green, however the likes of Manu, Parker, and Duncan have a transcendent offensive game. Don't get me wrong though, he is absolutely dominant defensive player and great athlete.

I can see where you're coming from, however one thing I think you aren't taking into consideration is his mid range pull-up. He is an expert at that. And his defense often leads in a fast break dunk or even a three.

Jimmy Butler is absolute garbage offensively and Paul George had one good year and is now overrated because of it. Kawhi Leonard's shooting abilities may not be Stephen curry like, but it's loads better than those two inconsistent sallies you mentioned.
