Wow, Xmas is in the air....Mon Papa took me during they holidays,all the way to La Maison Kamerzell to eat Une Choucroute et du foie gras. That sausage looked so impressive and tasty and we came home with trunk full of Pinot Noir. Bonnes fêtes à toutes et à tous

I have no Christmas markets anywhere near me. The US just does NOT do them. I was in Copenhagen and Stockholm right after Christmas, some years ago, and their season starts late, by US standards, and there were several markets still going between Christmas and New Years and it was just lovely. So fun and festive.

We went to the Tire Bouchon in Strasbourg in mid October and we loved it, and returned a couple of times! The food was excellent, the service friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere very inviting! It does get very busy because it’s popular but try to either go early or during non-peak hours!

Doing something totally different, going this coming Monday ( 2nd of December) to Disneyland Paris to celebrate Christmas. Looking forward to seeing Disney Christmas decorations, parades and the food! Like yourselves I’m originally from the states ( Maryland), but moved to England some 31 years ago ( my husband is English, been to the Christmas Fair in Hyde Park some ten years ago and loved it! Unfortunately, haven’t been back since. Going to a Christmas fair in Winchester, which I’m sure will be on a much smaller scale, but will see.
