I own three Eart including the 335 and I am a very happy customer not a single complaint except I wish the 335 came with a coil split.

WOW, what a extremely nice review !!! Very precise !! I recently bought one during Amazon price drop at $279 !! These guitars are not ready to play out of the box though !!! I installed new strings, addressed Nut action, addressed two slightly high frets, installed roller saddle bridge, replaced the cheesy output jack plate!! Best 👍 , Wife burned a woods scene activity that included Bears, Moose's, Forest, and mountains into top of body !! Extremely cool guitar for price !! Next guitar will be T380 !!! Oh, I put a small piece of foam underneath the E/B strings, butted up against the roller saddles in reducing excessive ring noises !!

Thanks, man. Great review (and playing!). I've had this beauty for a year and a half or so. It's my fave. Most expensive gtr i have now is Gretsch 5622. Have had ~3000 (canadian dollar) Gibson Holy V (I paid 1250.., but that was original price), was most expensive I ever owned. This one isn't Perfect for me (if there was a Perfect gtr for everybody, I'm sure it would be known everywhere), but it's my overall fave.

Every spec on this impresses me 👍 I previously bought an Epiphone ES335 and ended up selling it because the fretwork was not where it should be. Just wish the Eart had coil splits

i have 7 epiphone gits (les pauls and 1 semiacoustic) from different decades. the guitars built in china within last 5 or 6 years (new headsock style) have bad fretwork except 1. Its adding 100 Euros for luthier to redo levelling frets. the guitars before that decade (with the old stle headstock) are quite good no matter indonesia or china. One of the chinese Les Pauls had best fret levelling of all guitars i ever had.

I just got one yesterday and it is flawless and I thought I was going to have to change out the pickups and harness for some 59’ Duncan’s I have , but the stock pups are really nice and sparkles in the middle position, which is where I live on most guitars , the fit and finish was perfect, no paint on binding , I am going to replace the box switch and the Jack to Switchcraft, and take the Pickguard off , Beautiful finish and it has chrome hardware .

Hey Cory, sehr cooles Review bei Minute 11:47 bis 11:52 ca. hört man beim Saitenanschlag so ein ganz helles "pling pling" auf jedem einzelnen Ton. kommt das von den Saiten zwischen Sattel und Stimmmechanik? Im späteren Verlauf höre ich dies noch ein paar mal.

Eigentlich gibt's da kein störendes klirren von den Saiten hinter dem Sattel. Ich vermute du meinst da entweder meinen bescheidenen Anschlag mit dem Plek oder man hört tatsächlich mal aufgrund der super niedrigen Saitenlage die Edelstahlbünde "klirren" beim Anschlag. Bin mir nicht sicher. Ich check das nochmal

Für klingt/klang das so ähnlich wie früher als Kind wenn den Eierscheider hergenommen hat und wie bei einer Harfe über die Schneiddrähte des Eierschneider gestrichen hat.

So, habs nochmal gecheckt und tatsächlich erzeugt sie Saiten hinter dem Sattel ein zusätzliches "pling". Meine Bühnengeschädigten Ohren nehmen es kaum wahr.

Yes, i am trying to hunt one down from Reverb. The used market is the way to go. I cant order then from the US. They cost a fortune with all the taxes and customs for us in europe

Mine I got yesterday , it was new with D’addario 10/46 strings a perfectly smooth and non painted fretboard , beautiful rosewood , as nice as my Gibson’s

Just tried to order one but 50 bucks for shipping from EU warehouse is way too much. Thomann gives you free shipping when your order reach 200e. Im sure ths guitar is good but i wont be paying such amount for delivery. All the best Cory...

It's 20 Euro shipping when you order from EU warehouse and are in the EU. You clicked wrong and ordered "worldwide shipping" i guess. I got this discussion now with over 20 people and they all clicked wrong. The website is confusing though. If you click on the EU warehouse tab it shows all models in the EU warehouse.. If you click on a model you have to select from the drop down menu again "EU warehouse". Its always 20euro.

The thing that really disappoints me about this, otherwise, amazing guitar is why, why, why did they use WHITE binding ? Surely a cream, or " off white " would have made ALL the difference to the aesthetic beauty and added to the overall, vintage look ? I would have bought this in a flash, if they had addressed this. I am sure most guitar enthusiasts would agree with me ? the white binding massively cheapens the look, when everything else is top drawer. .... what a terrible shame.

These guitar companies shouldn't do matte wood-grain finishes. It looks fake, like a big sticker. Instead, they should do matte paint, maybe do some metal flake sparkle paint. Don't try too hard to look like wood.
