Ive recently taken up abstract painting with acrylics and one thing i've learned so far is the old addage "you get what you pay for". By that i mean paints. I thought cheap acrylics from an bargain store would work...well they do if i want to do pour painting. You know, mix paints with a pouring medium, stack the colours in a cup and pour. But to work with a palette knife is super tough. Maybe for a pro it'd be easy but to me, it's just not possible. But other than that i'm picking up tips and tricks to make what i create look more appealing than the several outcomes where everything results in a brown mess 😆

Nice work....One thing....May I suggest that the edges be taped. When painting is dry take the tape off and retape leaving about 2 or 3 16's on the face then paint with black. Use brush strokes from in to out to get a sharp line. NOW THE PAINTING LOOKS PROFESSIONAL.
